I'm pretty new to vaping but I love it. I bought an Ego C Twist with variable voltage and a Vision Vivi Nova tank. I liked it but the tank started leaking. They exchanged it for me and I decided to go with the Kanger Protank II since it was a bottom coil and glass instead of plastic so it wouldn't leach chemicals into my juice. I had been using a 70% PG/30% VG liquid and found out I'm one of those people allergic to PG. Broke out in terrible hives and itching that was miserable. Stopped vaping and it was gone the next day, smoked again and it came back with a vengeance. I had to smoke regular cigarettes for 4 days till my new 100% VG (no PG in the flavoring either) arrived and can only say that after three weeks of vaping only, that was a miserable 4 days! My mouth felt like I had eaten the remains of a campfire. Ugh! I got my new liquid from Virgin Vapors and I can say it's the best juice I have ever tasted!! Their VG is pharmaceutical grade and the Absolute line that I ordered from is manufactured to the organic standards of the European Union which is much stricter than US standards. Nothing is from China either! I have tasted a lot of liquids in the last weeks and nothing I've tried compares. The taste and the smell are fabulous and so true, you'd think you were eating instead of smoking. Very little throat hit with the 100% VG, and major smoke. I'm in love! I do have one question though. With this Kanger tank, since it is a bottom coil and I have turn it upside down to fill anyway, is there a danger of flooding it if I put it in my purse and it's not upright? I know that the Vivi had to stay upright, but does this one too?

P.S. My profile pic is what I want my next setup to be. :vapor:

Hello and welcome to ECF. Glad to hear you were able to get you allergies resolved with 100% vg liquid.

The pro tank 2 shouldn't have a problem leaking through the top. The center post that connects the top and bottom together is where the coil sits. I have had no problem with mine ever leaking.

Same as the mini vivi nova tank I use it's doesn't leak leaving on the side. It's almost helps keep the wicks soaked with liquid.

Good luck and hope you stick with vaping and off analogs.

Crazy thing about the Vivi was it leaked from the bottom. After replacing the bottom piece, the guys in the store couldn't figure out why it kept leaking so they just told me that I could exchange it. I think it was just defective. I love the new Kanger tank so I have no complaints. Glad to hear I don't have to worry about keeping it upright now. That was a pain in my purses. I love the new liquid from Virgin Vapors so much it was worth the allergy and research it took to find them. I might not have otherwise. Thanks a lot for the info. :D
