As I'm supposed to be working right now, I don't have time to do proper research. Just so you know I'm not pulling it out of my fundament, tingling extremities are not unknown as a side affect of smoking cessation, though it may not be common or listed in the official ECF reading material:

Symptoms of Recovery
Tingling feet after quit smoking - Anyone else? - Smoking Cessation Message Board - HealthBoards
Quit Smoking / Stop Smoking : Psychological help -- Self-help Smoking Cessation Treatment
Could Quit smoking cause Tingling and numbness (Numbness and tingling)? - eHealthMe

Like I say, not scientific research, just a quick look around: https://www.google.ca/search?q=smoking+cessation+tingling

Thanks for the suggestion. I am currently on 18mg 100% VG Virgin Vapor juice. I did not think it was Nicotine OD as I have no nausea or sweats. I was able to chain vape this same juice for a week practically and now its just tightness in breathe and lightheaded. It even happens when I am not vaping. I usually smoke like I would analogs.

When at work it is every 2 hours for about 10 minutes straight. Then once home every hours or so. Could this still be Nicotine OD??

NOT GIVING MEDICAL ADVICE BUT:

It can't hurt to lower your nic to maybe 12 and see if it helps. And while you're at it, try taking long sloooow draws instead of puffing like a cigarette. Also try taking less puffs over an extended period of time. Chain vaping, puffing too fast, and having higher nic can result in too much nic (I wouldn't go so far as to say "OD".)

I am not a doctor but I see why you equate it to vaping. Most of those symptoms are the same as decreased oxygen in the blood.

You say you are using one brand, what about different flavors within that brand? I had an experience with my lungs when I started. By the time I definitively equated it to what I was doing, I had tried 10 flavors from 6 brands. Only one flavor, Creamy Strawberry, from a brand I had tried a different flavor. I looked up (in some cases called) all the companies to get an ingredient list and quickly determined it wasn't pg or vg. Then it dawned on me, I get sick if I have too much cream soda, the symptoms I was getting must be from the "cream" flavoring and were different when inhaling than the symptoms when ingesting.

Final thought - Some of the chemicals in tobacco (usually nicotine but not always) suppress certain illnesses. It is possible that is causing your symptoms. As others said, continue working with your doctor and take some steps to narrow down if vaping is causing it.

I've had similar problems shortness of breath to the point I was trying so hard to take a deep breath that I would wake up with a sore chest kind of felt like I was trying so hard to take deep breaths that my ribs were about to crack. It was going on for quite sometime around 2-3 weeks about a month or 2 into vaping but now Im all good and havent had any type of reactions like this

I have seen a doctor (As mentioned in the original post). I have had Lung Capacity Tested, Chest X-Rays and an Eco-Cardiogram. All results are Tip-Top and Totally normal and healthy. In fact my doctor has said that I am in better shape then I should be for having smoked analogs for 17 years. I have only been vaping for 3+ Weeks.

So seeing as though I have a Clean Bill of Health.....any Ideas dear veterans????

It could be anxiety or panic attacks. Are you going through challenging times in your personal life?

I would definitely try a lower nicotine juice. Maybe step down from 18mg to 12mg. You say you vaped the 18mg for a week with no issues, so it's hard to say. Keep in mind also that depending on the juice maker, there can definitely be quality variation and even mislabeling. I doubt it's that, but just something to keep in mind.

Also, people often vape more than they used to smoke. I know I do. When I smoked, I always went outside, whether at work or at home and that provided kind of a natural limiting factor (2 cigs every 1.5 hours in my case). But with e-cigs, I tend to kinda vape along during the day like snacking. Every ten minutes or so taking some drags.

How many real cigarettes were you smoking per day before, and what brand/strength?

I'm getting the tingling fingers on both hands...I also went to the doctor and doc sez its possibly do to a pinch nerve from always being with my arms bent typing on my dam phone...he said to do hand glides. Its a stretch exercise, look it up...I think is the high nic constricting my nearves.. I'm a vape hog so I must continue to massage my arms and wiggle my fingers...lol

Hello, Veezy.

Thanks for the feedback. That is the first report of the same type of thing that I have currently. I dont have it to the point were my lungs or ribs hurt but it is definitely there and very prevalent.

Can I ask for more details?
-How long did this last for you?
-Was it constant or did it come and go?
-Were you vaping PG or VG or a combo and did that make any difference?
-and How did you stop it? or any idea what it may have been related to?

Thanks!!

this actually might be the reason as well. When I was going through my shortness of breath Anxiety was the first thing i thought about. I was just opening up my business and making sure everything is ready to go for grand opening.

it lasted me a month and it was on and off. it really came back only when I was thinking of breathing. I was vaping juice with high pg it was more than 40% for sure (sorry i dont really remember) but I know that I started vaping 100% vg and I havent had a problem since. I also have juice with very minimal PG no more than 20% and I havent had any symptoms.

I also had to take my mind off of inhaling and exhaling. its very tough to do so when your brain is telling you that you need to take a deep breath and when you cant you start to panic and thats what makes it even worse and anxiety starts to build up!but when you finally are able to actually get in a deep breath you feel like a million bucks! my advice is to just get your mind off of it and start trying to vape 100% vg and see if this helps you because it definitely helped me out if you cant get 100% vg I suggest going minimal as possible on the PG ratio.
