Newbie in the UK - Simple Questions

Hi all,

Finally kicked the ciggie habit a couple of weeks ago after i dusted off my Tornado tank and gave it another go with new juices.
I've been using Totally Wicked 18mg, particularly Menthol & Strawberry, which I mix 50/50 amd I'm Totally happy with product and delivery. Not so Totally happy with the juice prices though - £10.00 ( $15.00 ) per 20ml and not much discount for bulk buys.

So, question 1 - I have seen juice supplies on the web for as little as £1.75 per 20ml but don't know if they can be trusted so can someone RECOMMEND a supplier, UK or overseas. I'm happy to buy 300ml + if it's economical.

Q2. Some suppliers sell PG and VG only ( East mall ). Does anyone know what the Totally Wicked juice is made up of so that I can buy some of each and blend my own. I've heard reference to a 70/30 ratio as being a rough start point

Q3. Is the eGo c atty/cone compatible with the Tornado Tank battery and cart. Just noticed that they do replaceable attys for these which work out much cheaper than changing the whole cone which I have to do at the moment.

Loads more questions to ask but I'll leave it there for now.

Hi and welcome to ECF. DIY juices is easy if you're careful and focused when doing so. When I was vaping 36 mg cost worked to $2.50 per 30 ml. VG is vegetable glycerine- buy it at the Pharmacy- cheap. PG is Propylene Glycol- special order at the Pharmacy= cheap. Nic juice easy to get BUT have to be sure about the quality as some have nasty chems in them.

Thanks for the welcome Vapoor eyes er. While one day I will probably start to dabble with 'home brew', right now I'm just looking for a good supply of ready made juice at a price that's right.

Hi lol welcome to the forum.

I've only been vaping for a couple of weeks but the juices from vapeescape are great and you can get 30ml for a tenner, i'm not sure if they do bulk but you can give it a shot. Alba vapours is another uk based company with roughly similar prices. Another thing to check out is tw's yoyo, i managed to pick up 100ml of juice for a tenner from them (lol i managed to get a 78% discount).

I am not sure what tw's ratio is but Vapeescape is 70 pg/30 vg, nucig on the other hand is 100% vg. It's worthwhile playing around with your mixes and if they are too thick then can always be thinned with distilled water or 100% alcohol.

i'm not too sure about compatability but for sheer ease of use, filling and cleaning i am really enjoying using the ego battery with a vision ego clearomiser (aka stardust or ce4+).

Your Tornado is just a rebranded ego, so anything that fits an ego or anything with a 510 thread will fit your Tornado.
