So I received my new shiney stuff in the mail today from MBV as well as a 30ml spurberry juice 20pg 80vg 18nic 2 flavor shots. Open up a new PT2 mini and fill it with said juice. Darn near blew my head off. It felt like I had just drank a triple shot of Everclear. Got home and drained the juice back into the bottle and took a sniff, smelled like acetone. Lesson learned I looked at the born on date and it was only 10 says old. I will let this bad boy steep for a while and let the alcohol air out. I'm sure it will be a good vape in time but I guess next time I order juices I will be a bit more cautious.

I have never had that happen, I used to use flavors from MBV and for some reason they tend to taste weird.

I have found I like Unflavored 90VG/10PG. I could never find a flavor I really liked, and unflavored kind of taste like a very toned down vanilla flavor.

I have never smelled a flavor that smelled like Acetone, but who knows it may just need to steep longer.

I find the high end juices are ready to go right out of the mail and only get better with steeping. Most others need good steep time as the vendors mix and send right away, only real steep time they get is while in the mail to you. I have had many that out of the mail were absolutely terrible but with a few weeks rest they mellowed out and the flavors came to life.

Don't fret, just put them somewhere cool and dark like in a drawer or box and let them sleeeep.

Also you can just order the Flavoring and Base and save alot of money.

Go to E-Liquid Bases - E-Liquid(E-Juice) Made in USA to find your bases, I recently ordered 1 liter of Base with 10mg nicotine for $25 (After shipping)

All you have to do is put some of the base into a bottle (Lets say 10ml), and add around 1 ml of flavoring (For 10%), shake it up and let it steep. You can put however much flavoring you want, some people think 10% is too low.

BTW e-liq.com is the cheapest place I have found for base, I recommend it to everyone I know that DIY.

EDIT: Oh yeah!! before I forget if you get base with anything over 24mg, you will need to cut it.

I bought a couple of boutique juices at my B&M a few weeks ago and was kicking myself for not trying them first (bitter, almost burnt flavor), I uncovered for a day then let em sleep for about two weeks, then tried them with a 1.8ohm coil @ 4.8V and hell yeah!! tasted great. I do enjoy this learning curve keeps me wanting more!!!!

heat a bowl of dry rice in the microwave, a little hotter than the hottest water you get out of your tap. remove cap and dripper. gently put the bottle down into the rice and let sit till cool. Shake and test. If not quit ready then set in cupboad with cap and dripper off for a couple of days it should be fine. Also, don't know if you have ever gotten the extra flavor shots before, I don't but i have heard they can be kind of strong.

don't heat it too hot I imagine you could melt the bottle, I think most bottles are LDPE, the melting point is somewhere between 250 and 350 degrees F. so don't over heat the rice.
