I think I got it now... While I was gone I actually just received my package with the Ego twist 1000 mah battery and the vivi nova tank, and I tried the same juice on it that I use on my other standard battery, only with the vivi nova I tried on the 1.8 ohm as oppose to the 2.4 I been using, and I can tell a slight difference. The 1.8 ohm gave me a harder throat hit, but I felt like I'm sucking in less when I was pulling on it. I also think the vapor production on it was a little smaller. Is this how it translates? Am I on point??

Did you charge it first? They usually aren't shipped fully charged.

Is it me, or does everyone find this thread confusing? More Ohms, less amps needed for same Watts. Less amps, less battery required. Makes sense that a lower ohm coil would be warmer because it takes more amps to achieve same Watts. So, wouldn't more Ohms use less battery and have a cooler vape? If my understanding is not correct, I would appreciate learning what is correct.

I'm confused by all these replies, too. All I know is that after using 2.4 "normal resistance" clearos on a plain ego battery (no VV), when I bought an iClear 16 that was 1.8 ohms, I got a much heavier, more satisfying vape on the same battery. It took me a while to get used to the difference, but I liked it better.

On my Vamo, I can do whatever I want, but I still prefer the lower ohm coils.

Okay, to remove some confusion

Fixed Battery
1.8ohms low = more amps to run
2.8ohms - Same setup less amps to run.....** Also Cooler Vape**

Same effects with VV Battery
However now you can BOOST to get 2.8ohm to perform like the 1.8ohm
Now you are using More battery due to over driving output.

This is safe by design, but can put you at the edge of adjust-ability.

Now using 1.8-2.2ohms with VV battery, you are getting decent Vape time for performance AND leaving room to bump up if the flavor works better. Tobaccos seem to produce better at higher temps as do some desserts.(bakery Flavors)
You also have room to reduce for light flavors - Fruits, some drink flavors.

Hope this helps a bit.:)
