Right now I am just experimenting I don't have a set amount. Just starting out with the smallest amount possible and working my way up. Everyone's experience will be different based on what capisasin oil they have. Mine is very very strong. One drop of pure oil in a pot of chilli will make it not edible. And that is coming from a chilli head like me, I paid $50 for a 1 ounce bottle of the oil and had to sign a legal disclaimer that I would not sue the company if I die while using it, :)

To give you an idea of how strong it is, I typically show off to friends by taking a toothpick and barely touching the cork where some residue oil has soaked up, then they put the toothpick and "touch" their tounge. Most people need a glass of milk after.

Glad your wife likes it, it will get much better over time. If it's to sweet for you eliminate the sweetner. If it's still to sweet eliminate or reduce the % of caramel to .05%. I would go the thurmos cup of hot tap water steep instead of the microwave steep. With the microwave you could boil or burn the juice very easly if your not careful. Just fill a good quality thurmal cup with tap water as hot as you can get it and drop the bottle of fresh mix into it. Let it sit until it cools to room temp. Remove the bottle shake it real good then repeat the hot water process 2 more times. It should be decently vapable after that. When it's fully steeped it should turn a nice deep brownish amber. At that point it's out of this world. Still nothing beats an ultrasonic cleaner for steeping.

Another vote for the super concentrated (SC) flavors from VZ. They taste good, and are super easy to mix. 1 drop per ml usually gets you in the ball park, and I still haven't found a better off-the-shelf analog flavor than their Parliament.

My current "plain jane" tobacco mix of choice is:

10ml, 6 or 12mg @ 50/50

VZ Virginia Flue Cured (VFC) - 3 drops
VZ Honey Flue Cured (HFC) - 3 drops
VZ Real Cig - 5 drops
One drop of MTS Vape Wizard or ACV.

This mix is very versatile and easy to tweak with minor changes.

1. If you want a "drier" flavor, add a couple drops of TPA Toasted Almond.
2. To mellow it out a little, add another drop of vinegar.
3. To sweeten or unsweeten it, change the ratio of VFC to HFC, or the ratio of both of those to the Real Cig.
4. To make it more harsh, lower the VFC/HFC and increase the Real Cig.

Give it several warm baths and lots of shaking for the initial taste test; it just gets better from there. I've tested about 25 tobaccos so far from various vendors, and I keep coming back to this ^ blend, or straight up Parliament with a drop or two of ACV.

I created this thread, and a chart (here) that may help you choose any other VZ SC tobaccos that you may be interested in. Please bear in mind that it's a work in progress. :)

Most tobacco flavorings really are terrible....unless you like SWEETENED tobaccos like RYE4.

I seldom vape tobacco eliquid unless it is a NET tobacco......In the last 8-9 months I vape mostly dessert vapes or fruits.

Taste is very subjective and I would imagine to a non cigarette smoker tobacco juice would really taste bad. But to an ex-smoker who just quit 2 weeks ago after 40 years of smoking (such as myself) tobacco flavor taste pretty darn good :vapor:

My thoughts exactly.

In 37 years of smoking, I never thought twice about the actual taste or smell of tobacco, other than the few times I was around pipes or cigars that smelled good. Now I'm surrounded by 2143829478978971934 little friggin' bottles of tobacco flavoring, and can taste them in my sleep.
