I've been stocking up for whatever regulation blitz comes down. I have several regulated mods at the moment and enough nic to last the rest of my life and a box full of tanks, but I have a feeling the regulated mods might be the weak link in my plan. Love them but if they stop working there aren't many user serviceable parts in there. You can't fix a broken chip or a gravity sensor.

I've been thinking maybe I should get some mech mods.

What I'm looking for is a mod that's simple and easy to work on. Something that might last for a long time. Right now I make my own juice and use Kanger tanks and a Lemo. The Lemo is pretty flexible. The Kangers don't work too well at over 4 volts with the juice I make. Can I make the Kangers work with a mech mod? And what the ### is a kicker?

So I came here to ask the experts. Anyone got any thoughts on a good mod for my needs? Something where I could get a couple of mods and some spare power buttons and whatever else tends to fail on them. I don't need lots of power, just reliability and ease of maintenance.

thanks for any help you can give me.

There nothing to fail on a mechanical mod.. I guess you could drop it and strip the 510, but barring that they can last indefinitely.
A kick is a device that allows you to regulate voltage or wattage similar to a regulated device.
I would suggest a stainless steel mod if you are really
Looking for durability or at least a mod with a stainless steel 510 connection.
Spring buttons are easier to repair than magnets, as finding the exact size magnets could prove difficult, and you can get springs from a hardware store or make them from copper wire.
