I have been to a store to buy some 6mg nic to try on my istick50+subtankmini. The guy working there were using istick20+nautilus mini 12mgNic eliquid. It was simply awesome. Decent throat hit, no scratchiness on the throat. I guess my setup is a bit overkill for a beginner :) I guess I will use this kind of setup 4-5 months later. Maybe I should have listened to @m00shie when he first suggested istick30+nautilus mini :p Thanks everyone for their comments and recommendations. I have learned and experienced many things about ecigs in 3days :) Im a little bit short on money this month so I'll sell my setup and buy iStick20or30+Nautilus Mini afterward. I guess this thread can be closed. Cheers :)

I think you will be happier using the Nautilus Mini. I was using a lot of different Kanger tanks on the iStick, including the Subtank. When I tried the Nautilus, it made a huge difference. The Nautilus is the closest I have found to replicate the sensation of smoking that I was looking for. I am using 50/50 blend of PG/VG. When I started vaping two and a half months ago, I started with 24 mg. Now I am down to 15 mg (mixing half 24 mg and half 6 mg). The Nautilus gives me the perfect blend of vapor production and flavor along with the throat hit from the juice.

The day I received my first online purchased Greensmoke "kit", I stopped smoking. I was a pack a day Marlboro smoker for over 30 years who had tried to quit many times and always failed. Tried to quit using patches, nicotine gum, etc. Nothing replaced the feel of a real ciggy. For some reason I had made up my mind that day and the eGO crappy battery/fillable tank did it for me. I vaped that way for a about a year (using various online kits, Halo being one of them).
I finally decided to upgrade and having been rebuilding ever since. Currently using iStick 50W and Subtank Mini. Love it, and for me it works.
I've dropped my nic level to 3mg and that works for me.
Sorry for the long story, but I wanted to show that vaping can replace the feel of real analogue smoking (at least for me),

Welcome and very good luck to you.

My morning vape (and rotating throughout the day) is a blend of Ice Box (from Vaporbeast) at 18 mg, and Menthol (from Mt Baker Vapor) at 6 mg (I think) and I am getting a good throat hit and it tastes the way I want to remember smoking tasted, only a lot better than smoking really ever tasted.

I'm currently a little over 48 hours smoke free. This is the longest I have ever gone, at home on my own! I'm coasting with the momentum even though I have cravings. After all, this is why I tried vaping and I've already spent a small fortune so there's no good reason to sabotage what I've managed to do so far. :)

Great Job Puff2K. Keep it up if you can, eventually you'll hate the taste of cigs (if you keep vaping only) and the initial cost will pay off in the long run.
Look at my sig - I've saved a ton of money overall.

Good luck!!!

Keep up Puff2K, I had my last cig 2 weeks after starting vaping. Since then (3 month now) 2 more cigs just to realize that vaping tastes soooo much better.
