All of that sounds great. I have looked at a few reviews for the MVP 3.0 and love that it comes in pink  Would that be a good one to get?

I have the mvp 20w it's one of the best starter devices you can get imo. I would get an Aspire Nautilus with it. Ask for ejuice that is 70 pg 30 vg that will give you good throat hit. When I first started I used 18 mg (or 1.8%), just depends how much you smoked and what strength. Btw you may cough a lot the first couple of weeks, this normal and actually good because your' lungs are cleaning out the tar buildup. You'll love vaping and if you have any questions feel free to ask the forum.

Hi Rachel. Well done on taking your first step. I've googled your device and it looks like a cigarette style one? Do you buy cartridges for it? If it's a cigalike they can be relatively expensive.

For new NZ vapers I would recommend a craft Vapery subscription for ejuice. The coupon code 'SPOOKY' currently will give you 20% off your first box. To the box you can add an Ego One starter kit, which is easy to use and will get you going (you will need more gear) and you can also add replacement coil heads which you'll need. Get the 1 ohm ones. The 8 bottle box is the best value due to shipping costs.

There is a flavour profile to fill in (at this stage you may not know what you like or don't) I would leave it reasonably open. There's also a section to add comments to your curator, you may want to tell them you are new and would like some popular flavours. Then after your box arrives you can log in and tell them what you liked or didn't like.

Any further questions just ask, and good luck.
I am using refillable carts. I got 5 with my kit. I was thinking of using Zamplebox but is Craft Vapery better or just your preference? Where in NZ are you? Im in Blenheim. So whats your opion on NZ not selling Nicotine eliquid? Do you think it will ever change?

I did Zamplebox for 6 months. I can't recommend it simply because I had a hell of a time cancelling it. Evidently the service has improved lately in terms of the quality of juice they send.

I'm not too far away, Wellington and yes I think the law is an ... the government wants the tax money from smokers. We do have some pro vaping tobacco control researchers here and some really anti ones so I just hope if there are changes to existing laws they are good changes and not designed to sabotage the effectiveness of vaping as smoking cessation

Welcome to ECF, Rachel. I don't have any suggestions about starter stuff, but just wanted to say hello and WAY TO GO! because I remember very clearly how amazing it was to be 48 hrs smoke-free AND NOT EVEN CARE! It's an incredible feeling, like you just got released from smokers' jail, the ol ball and chain. I broke into a little hoochy-koochie dance about every half-hour for the first couple months, singing "I DON'T SMOKE ANYMORE, HAHAH!" :D

You came to the best place online for anyone interested in vaping. Nice to meetcha! :thumb:

Hello and congrats! I also started with the G6 kit but quickly moved up. I am smoke free for 3 days now using the MVP 3 pro and I love it! It has a very satisfying vape and the battery life is great. It comes with a pretty good sub-ohm tank that I still use. It is worth mentioning you will use a lower nicotine juice on a sub-ohm set-up, you can search this forum for more information on that. I use 6 mg but I have a 18 mg in a regular tank for back-up/tough cravings. I also started out trying to use cheap juice and honestly I wish I would have just bought premium juice to begin with. You won't vape something you don't like so you are not really saving money on cheap juice. Your mileage may vary of course. Another popular set-up I see here is an Istick/Nautilus mini. I haven't used that one myself but I hear good things. Also drink a lot of water! Seems to help with 'vape mouth' as well as kind of 'flushing' out chemicals from cigarettes. Good luck to you!

I think I may have gone backwards by going from an ego t to the halo G6.

It will be great for errands in the future, or somewhere when you need to be discreet (I am going to a wedding where nobody smokes or vapes, and bringing my very classy looking Joyetech eRoll kit cig-a-like, looks just like an iPhone) so G6 is still a good buy ;)

I would not be disappointed as they have been very good devices in my experience with them. If I had to buy a replacement one for my main, I would buy that one. If by chance you get the Emow tank, you would have to make sure you get a connector attachment for the tank as that one uses the ego style threading. They would be cheap if not for free from a brick and mortar store if you ask. Most people use a 510 connection type tank like the Nautilus Mini which would also work.

I buy most things online. Some of it comes on a boat (you know, it's a method of travel across water :D) from China. They say it's airmail...but a plane takes 14 hours and mostly my stuff takes 14 days.
It's nice to try stuff out, I agree, but once you know what you're doing, online is great!

I got 4 x 30ml bottles of 'Hangsen' today which took (let me see)... about 3 weeks.
3 of them are excellent, one is not so great.
£4.00 ish in the UK for 10ml. 85p for 10ml bought direct.
($5.30 NZ for 30ml!)
