I just ordered and recieved a 900 or 1000 mah (can't remember exactly) and I have been trying to use my Phoenix ce3 clearomizors.
I'm just getting a burnt taste that hurts my throat and it's very frustrating.

What type of cartomizer setup do I need to get a great vape?

I desperately don't want to start smoking again. Thank you so much!

Welcome , but the easiest thing I can recomend , is a mini Vivi-Nova . It's an atty type tank . Holds about 1 1/2 mil. of juice , and are preety cheap . I have one on an Ego twist , that's almost a month old , and still working ( i do soak it in some vodka , about once a week , or sooner , if changing flavors . Good luck . O h and maybe your juice is higher in a VG content , which doesn't wick very well . Try using a juice abit higher in PG . Or you could use a few drops of distilled water , or even a bit of vodka , to thin it down.

Yes, the more VG the thicker the juice. If it isn't wicking enough, it will not cool the coil and vaporize well...then it burns.

Like said above, try thinning a small amount of the e-juice (like putting 3 ml in an empty dripper bottle and a drop or two of water or PGA or PG).

I have CE2's not 3's so they're a little different...but Top coil clearos can he hot. Putting a drip tip (or a plastic cart from an atomizer...flat end trimmed off) will help cool it if it's too hot.

3.2 volts at 2.8 ohms is a bit cool, IMO. If it's not vaporizing properly it won't work well either. So... after thinning the juice, even if that helps it may still be harsh...this time too low voltage.. you MAY have to nudge it up a bit once you get it wicking properly.

Basically for 2.8 ohm stuff...I'm closer to 4.5 volts on my vv stuff. But I'm not using CE3's so it can vary. Also the actual ohms of the carto can vary. If it meters out at 2.5, then I'd lower the voltage. And if it burns, lower the voltage. If it's harsh, you may have to INCREASE the voltage (poor vaporization).

Also, like with many clearos...tip and roll it between vapes.
