Honestly, just tell those people they are obviously hobbyists and your using vaping as a smoking cessation aid. I'm a hobbyist myself but to be honest it embarrasses me to be seen with huge box mods and giant rta's in public because no one else knows what it is and it looks like your walking around with some 1980's version of an ecig.

I think I'd still have to carry a purse, even if I was in that lifestyle; just too much crap to carry around, and books won't fit in your pocket. Being without a book is, to me, a fate worse than death -- what would I do in those small boring moments? Just stare into space? So I have to carry a purse big enough for a library book, a wallet the size of some purses, and 2 or 3 mods, plus that ginormous bundle of keys -- not many keys, but that ADT remote is enormous! At least I no longer go into a panic at not having at least 2 pks of cigarettes in there. :D

Lol. I myself carry a purse - now. But the purse thing didn't start until after the vaping thing (although not the reason, but now that I have to carry vaping equipment for me and vaping equipment and occasionally cigarettes also for my lady... Lol.
Also, side note, books can fit in your pocket quite nicely if you use an eBook app. I personally like being able to have dozens of books between my phone and my tablet, rather than being stuck with just one "traditional" book.

Yeah... I'm kinda torn, about the e-books. On the one hand, I totally and completely loooooooooooooove books; their smell especially, their feel, everything about them. On the other hand... everytime I'm leaving the library with about 8-10 books, I recall how, when I graduated high school, I rejoiced that I would NEVER again have to carry a double armload of books. So I just dunno if I wanna get on that train or not. I don't have a mobile phone, and don't *yet* have a tablet (though that's coming, when I get a new PC with our tax refund -- one of those with the detachable screen that turns into a tablet). Maybe once I get that, I can try out the e-book idea and see if I like it.

Don't have one, probably never will -- I rarely go anyplace other than grocery shopping or to the library, or to the home of someone in my extended family -- where there is a phone. When you stay at home 98% of the time, there's little reason for a mobile phone.

Fair enough, I do think they are used more to kill time than talk on nowadays :D I remember being in the minority a decade ago, waiting at the DMV last week probably 75% of the room was staring at their phones.

In the lesbian community this isn't exactly the case lol. As a single butch lesbian, she has no purse.

As a lesbian who hates dresses and purses myself, I would like to recommend a messenger bag or field bag. They don't look or feel girly at all, and are totally great for all your vaping stuff.

Andria, get an eReader if you can. I thought I would hate it but I love it. I still buy books, and read tons of actual books, but the flexibility of an eReader is something I can never do without. The digital copies are cheaper and it's great for books that you don't want on your shelf forever.

Lol, I'm not trying to advise her. She's already of the mindset that she knows best about vaping so why would I offer her a single tip?

Good point. Let her figure it out, haha.

I was happy with egos for years, btw. I just happened to win a mod in a contest that then kick started my shinyitis, lol.
