@Shannon Vapes - You don't
have to use a much higher nic mg to transition from smoking to vaping. I smoked 1 - 1/2 PAD for 42+ years...so I was a longtime smoker who'd tried many times to quit. All my friends and relatives thought I'd definitely
always be a smoker for the rest of my life. But...in just shy of 2 months, while I vaped a lot, I also was slowly tapering off on the number of smokes per day that I could have each week, until I had my last one. I've never wanted one, nor had 1 since then, and that was more than 4 years ago.
Even though I smoked all those years, while transitioning to vaping I vaped 2 different eliquids that were my favorites, at
only 6mg, for most of the day. I also had 2 others though, at
11mg...to vape as a substitute for my first smoke in the AM and my smoke after lunch and dinner. I
knew those 2 times were going to be hard ones for me to give up, so I decided to use a little higher nic mg eliquid at just those times in the first month. It worked like a charm!
By the time I'd gotten down to 2 smokes per day for a week, and then 1 smoke per day for my last week...I was totally enjoying vaping
more than I was enjoying those final ciggies. Also, during the entire transition time...there was absolutely no jitteryness, no cravings, etc.
So, everyone has to find out what works best to help
them transition. There is no magic method, nor time-table to do it, nor eliquid to use, or nic mg, or vaping set-up/gear, etc. Try different eliquids, or nic mg, or gear, etc., until you find
the combination that allows you to enjoy
vaping...
more than smoking. Once you nail that, you're on your way to being smoke free!
