NEWBY that's tried 3 brands

Hi all! Love the information found so far in the forum. Been "vaping" for about a month and have only smoked a pack a half of the real deal. Anyway I've bought 3 different brands of e-cigs. Have paid for none of them BTW. Mom said she'd hook me up. My girlfriend said she'd do the same, as well as my dad. None of them smoke and I've tried patches, pills, gum but nothing worked as well as the e-smokes. I started with Greensmoke.com. Good product with good customer support and fast shipping but it's pretty pricey. So then I bought from Volcano. Got their "Magma" starter kit. Plenty of vapor and good flavor but their cartridges are a bit of a mess if you get the liquid on you. Last, and so far my favorite has been Smoketip.com. Great price, excellent vapor and the best customer service yet. I had a battery fall to pieces on me a couple days ago and sent the company an email explaining what happened and they sent out a replacement right away without even waiting for the malfunctioning battery to be returned. That's what I'm taking about! So I'm always looking for good, better and different brands out there so I'll be the guinea pig ;)
for anyone wanting a tester. Thanks for reading!

welcome to the club.
i have a joye 510 and love it. its got great vapor and great delivery.
i juice my own carts and have tried a number of different flavors liking them all. the best ejuice i've gotten so far is from Mrs. T's. i do have to say it taste much better the day after delivery instead of opening pkg and vaping right away.
if your on the puter much, (like i am) then the usb passthru is a def "gotta have". saves my batteries for when i'm away from home.

good luck

The eGo has been great for me, I highly recommend it. I put together a little kit that I take everywhere. It contains: 2x Cartomizers, 6x Carts, 5x Attys, 2x eGo spare eGo batts, 2x 6ml bottles of juice. The case is smaller than my Native sunglasses case. This kit will carry me for 2-3 days if necessary, just throw in the charger to go longer.

I can't post pictures yet... I'll try to remember to add the picture when I hit 15 posts.

The Silver Bullet (altsmoke.com) is a tank. Mine is about 8 months old, and looks like I've been dragging it behind my truck most of that time. It still works like the day I got it. It uses an 18650 3.7 Volt battery that will last the heaviest of vapers all day, and some light vapers get 4 days out of them. It can also accept 2 smaller 3 Volt batteries so you can vape at 6 Volts (not recommended, safety concerns, blah blah, whatever).

The GGTS (vaporkings.com) is pricey, but it can use just about any battery size you want to throw at it. It also has a connector that accepts several different types of atomizer without an adapter.

I own both of these, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend either one to anybody.

I often wonder why everyone has these same PV's, the same brands I hear over and over from "new" people, I had NEVER heard of ANY of them before I came here.

I assume people see them on the PAID "review sites" or on PAID "youtube reviews"

I would say that, and good SEO, is exactly why. It's all branding and marketing.

I ended up with a Green Smoke (a way overpriced, poor performing KR8 or possibly M variant) and it was a youtube video that sold me on it. I don't think it was paid, but the guy who made it was an affiliate. Thankfully, I found ECF a day or so after I it arrived in the mail and got myself straightened out. I returned the Green Smoke, got an eGo and have a Chuck on the way.

sheriffntx, I'm glad you're happy with the brands you've tried, but after trying an eGo, I can say without a doubt that the Green Smoke is an inferior vaporizer. It got me off analogs, and for that I'm grateful, but I highly doubt I would have stuck with vaping had I not gotten an eGo.

Yeah, my first 3 kits were the ones that NJoy sells in the Pilot truck stops. I spend a lot of time on the Internet, and it still took me almost 3 weeks to Google up some real info. I wasn't happy with the gear and the juice was awful (not to mention overpriced, pre-filled carts the only option). I could see the potential, though. I'm glad I bought them, because those kits are what got me going.
