You do need to watch closely on some rebranded products, but for the most part, all M401/M402 parts are interchangeable, all DSE901 parts are interchangeable and so on. If you find a specific brand that you are unsure of, try searching this forum for that model and contact the seller if you are still unsure.

Thanks Cyberwolf.

hi! new to the e-cig world...well mostly. i bought one last year...it broke and shortly thereafter found i was pregnant, and gave it all up.well now, 9 months later, i have purchased the njoy and after the atomiser dying after maybe a day's use...I am intrigued by diet smokes DSE 801.....this forum has opened my eyes to the world of e cigs...where as once before i thought njoy was the only way....looking forward to learining more with all of you. :)

Hi all!
I have known about E-smoking for about 6 months through a yahoo group that linked to New Life E-cigs. I thought about it now and then, and finally started reseaching about three weeks ago. I went to dogpile to get websites for research, and ran into many, including this site. What a great resource! I finally decided on getting the v4 from minicigarette.com and a pen style from smartfixx.com. I have had them for 3 days now, expecting to use the v4(401) at work, and the pen style at home. I told my wife about them, and she was skeptical. The pen style is a 801, as I have figured out that there are a few manufacturers and not alot of diversity in products. Also the v4 was easy after watching many tricks and tips videos. I am happy with the 401, and extremely pleased with the 801. My wife was totally amazed with the 801 and actually asked, "where do you light it?" the first time I showed it to her. I am very excited about everything E-cig, and am now delving into flavors and nic. strengths. I have already cut my analog smoking in half, and am ready to only E-smoke. I signed the petition already, and what really got my attention to this subject was the NPR report on the FDA investigating E-cigs. So far I have spent @ $260.00 on E-cigs and juices, but I thing it is well worth it. The only problem I have found is that a large vape tends to coat my throat severly causing a large cough and phlem. My wife has not noticed it, but she smokes 2-3 times more than me. I did this more for her, but I do love smoking too. I ordered a non PG juice to see what that does for me. Anyway, I love E-smoking, and am interested in any opinions on VG vs PG that address "Throat Hit". Thanks for being here, and I hope to be a helpful member as I mature as a real E-smoker.

I'm new here, but generally not shy.

I just got my e-cigs and I like them, but I'm also annoyed (E-cig Pro 98). Today was my first day at the office with them. Besides the fact that the car charger doesn't seem to fit the battery (and the usb charger doesn't seem to charge much), most of the problems have to do with the cartridges. I don't seem to get many inhalations out of a cartridge - certainly not the pack's worth advertised.

Now the problem might be that I'm not sure I'm loading the cartridge properly. The "user manual" is a scream - clearly written by someone who is not only visual, but for whom English is not their first language.

I poked around a bit looking for a "I just got these things and I can't make heads nor tails out of how to assemble it, charge it, use it FAQ" but didn't see one. :)

BTW, I'm Connie. I'm in West Virginia. I really like the idea of e-cigs, but at present I don't see how this is going to replace tobacco. Help!

hi im new here

i registered because i wanted to get an opionion of the "best" e-cig on the market..theres SOOOO many choices that its hard to know whats good and whats not

also, this forum is VERY confusing...dont you have an area with "highest rated" ecigs, with a link where to purchase them from? the webmaster here could make a ton of $ of referral sales if they did that - since this is the #1 google search for e-cigarettes and people (like me) mainly just want to know "whats the best & where do i buy"

:)

I must say, I am a newbie. I have a dse81, and I really love it. It gives me awesome vapor, and the batteries recharge very quickly. I also have a dse401, and I like it, but the carts ony last for about 20 - 30 drags. It gives great vapor, But I will take the 801 any time. I also notice that alot of videos show ppl using the 801(pen style). I highly recomend it.

Janessa, there's a thread on the main page called Electronic Cigarette Reviews...
Electronic Cigarette Reviews - e-cigarette-forum.com • The place for electronic cigarette reviews, news and chat
that you might find helpful. When I first started here, I just clicked and read and clicked and read, picking up lots of info along the way, ignoring the stuff I didn't understand yet.

Different people have different tastes and prefs, so there's not a "best" for everybody, and we noobs sometimes have different needs than seasoned vapers. I bought a DSE-901 in a leap of faith, from e-smokeytreats. I love it and haven't had any problems in almost 3 weeks... and size-wise, it's a decent approximation of a cigarette and let me initially preserve some of the "feel" and habits associated with smoking. But that stuff ceased to be important pretty quickly (hell, I thought I'd miss using a LIGHTER, lol!), and I know I'll soon go for something with longer battery life, and maybe something with a bigger cartridge I won't have to add liquid to as often. (See, 3 weeks in and I'm already researching my second e-cig.)

If I had it to do all over again, I would have bought my e-cig plus blank cartridges and liquids, and not wasted money on pre-filled carts. Filling your own carts is easy, infinitely tastier, and infinitely cheaper. That's the one definite piece of advice I can give!

so i'm new to the e-cig/vaping scene... but to date i have spent a small fortune on ecigs. i have ordered from 3 supporting vendors. unfortunately, i dropped my only ecig in the rental car (or somewhere) and have been stuck without it. i am waiting on a shipment that i ordered for my husband to arrive so that i can retrieve the extra atomizers and start vaping again. hopefully it comes in the mail tomorrow......

anyone know the amount of posts that one must accumulate before we are able to join the rest of the board??

hiya everyone!
Got introduced to e-cigarettes on Sunday, after running out of RYO tobacco I had stocked up on before the April tax-astrophe here in the USA. Used to smoke Stokkebye Amsterdam Shag, and loved it. I've got two young kids though, and my wife is now 4 months smoke-free, so the tax hike was the proverbial last straw.

Went to my regular tobacconist shop on Sunday to look for snus or other alternatives in the hopes that they'd keep me from going back, and was introduced to a Ruyan Jazz. Absolutely love it, although it is a bit finicky and the first one I almost bought was leaky (fortunately the guy at the shop had me open it before leaving the store to check it). Pretty pricey as well (~ 25 USD), but I'm still using the first one and I smoked ~ 15-20 cigarettes a day previously.

After realizing this actually worked, I've ordered a DSE 901 from myvaporstore. I've tried almost everything previously... buproprion, lozenges, cold turkey... but this is the first thing that I've actually enjoyed, in large part because I can feel my lungs, cilia, sinuses, and sense of smell returning to normal, while still going through the act of 'smoking' and keeping my reward system in check.
No desire at all to revert back to inhaling smoke, and this is coming from someone who _loved_ it when he quit.
Still awaiting my 901, hopefully it'll get here tomorrow, as it shipped on the 18th. I bought an extra atomizer and 30mL of 'RY4'-flavored low-level e-liquid. On reflection, I probably should've gotten 'mid' or 'high' level, but we'll see how this goes. I'm assuming the RY4 flavor is similar or exact to what's in the Jazz, which is fine because I quite enjoy the taste of it.
Tips on flavor suggestions are most welcome, and I'm sure I'll find plenty of recommendations as I peruse the board more.

Anyway, thanks for the great forum and I'm looking forward to experimenting with this brave new world of healthier hedonism!

Hi all;
I just joined this forum, although I've been reading it for some time now. I know South Africa is a third world country and blah blah blah, but where the hell have e-cigs been all these years!? I only learnt that there's a healthier alternative about a month ago. Gheezzz...First bought and tried out the M401, not bad for a first I suppose, and received my RN4081 this morning. It's amazing!

Have to tell you all though, not a lot of info and / or knowledge pertaining to vaping in SA, did a search on the internet and found only three online suppliers. I've been talking to a few buddies of mine and believe it or not, every single smoker I chat to is interested and wants to buy immediately after having a few puffs of the Marlboro e-liq.

Maybe I should start selling myself? Could make a killing out here. People in SA are generally more open minded when it comes to technology and reading about other members' negative public responses, I have to mention that e-cigs are generally welcomed in public, seeing as though our no smoking laws though strict, aren't that strictly governed and implemented.

Anyways, enough chatter from me, great forum, great info, great members. Keep it up, I'll be visiting daily!

Spikey wrote... severe sore throat, ........, mouth sores are common....

(Spikey, glad you stopped in here, and your video is terrific.) Odd question... When you guys mention "mouth sores," are you talking about anything resembling a cold sore? I believe I have one of those now. It's entirely outside my mouth. It feels and acts just like a cold sore... I do get those once in a great while. I am hoping to hell it's not due to vaping! Please tell me these "mouth sores" are something entirely different. (Been vaping about 2 weeks, LOVE it, entirely analog-free after a pack a day for 10 years.)

AquarianAlex wrote: I'm curious, is it dangerous to have some of the liquid to get into your mouth even by accident? I am a little skittish about it since it already happened to me. The instruction manual even mention that it is "prohibited".

It's happened to me several times (usually right after topping off, I err on the side of too-much). No ill effects I can tell. The caution must be because ingested nicotine is extremely poisonous. Even though my juice blend is pretty low-nic, I spit when it happens, then rinse with water and spit.

mouth sores similar to cold sores.. but most I have talked to got them inside the mouth. If they continue to happen past the initial 2 or 3 weeks... could mean allergy to PG. Most people find they subside.

Bad to swallow large amounts of liquid.. but I rec spitting anyway cause it tastes nasty!

I have been vaping for about a month. quit smoking almost 3 months ago, couldn't handle the chantix and kept "cheating" - like the e cigarette a lot. I am using the low nicotine will soon move to no nicotine.

I bought a "eigarette" kit on ebay and then ordered some supplies from Eco cig, took almost a month to get here. the battery won't hold a charge and the carts are dry. can one buy just glycerin to add to them?

I also bought a dse 901, some liquid and am learning to fill my own. through amazon answer grape, good product, fast ship. other order through e cigarette shop, lightening fast ship.

is there any way to sanitize carts that you refill?
dishwasher can sanitize carts (use the small mesh box where utensils are).

im so ready to ditch the e-cig! I didnt realize there is so much hassle with using it as compared to just lighting up the regular cig!
You get used to the small inconveniences (less of a pain then replacing stuff that I burned with my cig!)

My name is Marc and I am a 30+ year smoker who has just purchased a Red Dragon E-Cig kit and and It just arrived this morning.

My only concern is whether or not I can find aftermarket cartridges for this EC1 model from Red Dragon.

Anyways . . . Glad to be here and be part of a froum dedicated to keeping e-cigs in the spotlight !
I heard that red dragon= bad model?

Hello all, I'm a brand noobie so please bare with me. My name is Kris and I smoke about 1 and a half packs of marlboro mediums a day for the past 15 years or so. I've tried all the quit smoking garbage and nothing has worked.

I would very much like to try this e cigarette business, but I am feeling a little overwhelmed at the moment by all the info there is to sort thru. So far, I am leaning towards getting a 510. I see that there are a bunch of different names for this, like Yeti, Titan, etc. I'm assuming these are all the same basic product from different distributors. I've checked a few different web sites and they all seem to be out of stock. I have also seen mentioned that some of the shipments are tied up at customs. Is there a question of whether or not they will make it past customs? Is anyone seeing a real crack down going on right now?

Anyway, I am worried that these will be banned. I would like to find a distributor that has stock available and stock up on everything I would need to make my supply last a while. Money isn't an issue. I have about $300 for the initial investment. I could spend more if I have to. I'd like to get everything I need for a 6 month supply or so. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or recommend a similar product that would be more readily available for immediate shipment? I'm in the U.S., by the way.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I promise I will do more research before posting in the future. I just feel pressed for time at the moment.
Have you watched my 1 hour video (New, updated comprehensive intro to vaping)? It saves a lot of time.

Hello Everyone, I am so glad that I found this site. I have been using the e-cig for 95 days now and originally got it to quit smoking analogs. It was part of my plan to quit and it worked I have 95 days clean and free ;) from cigarettes. FINALLY after 46 years of smoking. I have so many questions about the e-cigs, I have 2 brands the e-puffer magnum (which is OK) and the njoy which I find is to be less than satisfying. I would like some help on finding the best e-cig that lasts and tha the cartridges can be refilled with e-liquid. Any ADVICE??????
Most carts can be refilled (as long as they are not attached to the atomizer). There are no "best".. cause everyone has diff opinions. It is like asking what the best car is... depends on your taste. The 2 ecigs you have are not the most popular models. Look around here.

I'm new here, but generally not shy.

I just got my e-cigs and I like them, but I'm also annoyed (E-cig Pro 98). Today was my first day at the office with them. See the info I just put above.. watch my video. If you don't see the link here... it can also be found at the bottom of the page at www.VapersClub.com.

USB charger works better if it is the ONLY USB thing plugged in.. USB splits power between the other USB devices and reduces power to the charger.

I'm having a hard time adjusting to the mouthpiece of my pen-style. Will keep vaping and see how it goes.

They make round for the mini... but I have never seen one for the penstyle. I am sure someone has made one... check out the "tips and tricks" section... or ask around in here.
