Did a quick search on ECF and see no mention of this flavor vendor.
Newport Flavours & Fragrances
They list literally a couple hundred flavors in both concentrate and extract forms.
btw this is not a plug and would really like to know if anyone has heard of these folks
...their website appears to be new with the homepage advertisement of "Grand Opening -- Free Shipping"
Sister company is Natures Flavors
Being that the concentrates are water based I assume there would be no problem with mixing....extracts are alcohol based so not sure if they are safe??

Natures Flavors Organic Flavor Extracts and Organic Flavor Concentrates are very similar in that they are both Certified Organic, all Natural and Water Soluble. The main difference is that Flavor Concentrates have a cloudy/opaque look to them while the Flavor Extracts are clear. This is not because the concentrates are any less pure, it is instead because Flavor Concentrates are set in a Organic Gum Acacia Base, and Flavor Extracts are set in an Organic Alcohol Base. This issue of cloudiness will matter in some applications such as Clear Beverage Applications, as such we recommend Flavor Extracts for these. Flavor Concentrates are more heat stable than extracts, so for baking you might want to look at concentrates instead of extracts. Furthermore, Flavor Extracts are in an alcohol base and will affect the freezing point of any application that you put them into, concentrates will not.

Alcohol isn't an issue in small quantities from my experience. It is more runny than water so balance with VG or other suitable thickener.

makes me wonder Jed, say your using a 20-25% flavoring which is high, how would 25% water base flavor vape ? personally I'm thinking a PG or VG Base flavoring would be better, I'm not sure though, I just no water doesn't vape well, I don't even like using it to cut my VG with, I know some do use distilled water, but I don't, never the less I would like a little feed back on water base flavorings now that you brought this up.????

Scubabatdan's flavor list tab on excel doc has some flavourart flavors listed as "Only Water-Soluble are OK to Use" in the "Use Safety" column. That's how I think FA flavors were cause if you go to FA website the flavors are as far as I can tell are all "Propylene Glycole-Water Soluble" with no other options. So if things changed at FA before PG change folks were using "only water" solution.

the reason I question the extract was what is also listed under the "Use Safety" column of Scubabatdan's .doc about alcohol

Alcohol isn't an issue in small quantities from my experience. It is more runny than water so balance with VG or other suitable thickener.

just question the strength of extracts...would you determine your flavor percentages before you would mix with PG/VG thickener in or after? If you are mixing this stuff into your batch anyhow why thicken?

think will pull the trigger on a few and see what happens....

Red in a no go vape so you are left with over 280 flavors....

Nature's Flavors says this is their "baby" site that has just been set-up. They have received questions from those interested in vaping their product and have already sold to some. No numbers but wouldn't doubt that there are vendors out there with "organic" e-liquid for sale that are using this stuff.
If this means anything, when asked about their concentration with the alcohol/water based extracts the rep stated that even with the added bases they would still be stronger than Capella's flavor drops.

update: their "butter flavors" do contain diacetyl,
when asked for a complete list of which specific flavors do contain diacetyl they don't have one...best they can do is let you know when you give them those flavors you are interested in

feedback none yet....have over 100 flavors I need to weed through and haven't made it to my Newport's yet, sorry

what would be the drawbacks of gum acacia, has there been any info gathered?

watermelon was able to get me off cigs completely last year. right now i can vape only ecopure without looking like the masked bandit, and just one flavor gets mighty boring after 8 mos or so ....... therefore, a drastic setback

pulled out 3 organic flavor extracts got from Newport

• Organic Amaretto Cappuccino Flavor Extract
• Organic Graham Cracker Flavor Extract
• Organic Malt Flavor Extract

all 3 list ingredients on the bottles as "Ingredients: Organic Ethyl Alcohol and Organic and Natural Flavors"

On their website the same extract's ingredients are listed as "Ingredients: Water, Organic Gum Acacia, Organic Flavors"

told them awhile ago this discrepency needs to be fixed but evidently someone dropped the ball.

also, the only difference between organic and natural flavor concentrates seems to be the addition of citric acid with the natural flavors

i will try to search ecf for gum acacia again ...... maybe i can come up with better search fields ....


i use mostly cartos so i wouldn't worry too much about attys as long as the stuff is fairly safe to inhale
but i believe i read it can be heated up to 400 F, which is below an atty temp
