Ok I started about 2 weeks ago with the crappy 7-11 brand xhale02. They were good enough for me to look up and when I did, I saw this forum and a bunch of comparisons other places too. So then I realized I had to do a little reasearch and invest in a decent one. After a few hours, I decided on V2 cigs. They are 2 piece with cartomizers and the KR808D-1 battery. After using a few cartos I jumped into some juice. I watched a couple videos on refilling and everything seems fine but I was wondering a few things...

Why is there constant explanations on refilling and taking off the white mouthpieces this part is just so easy!
I don't really know what my question is I'm just getting inconsistent vapor. Also the juices I have now are either really harsh (Blueberry) or really weak (Cola). The nicotine hit is really harsh at first too but diminishes quickly. I'd like to find a good middle ground.
Also I haven't seen much discussion about these V2 cigs, mostly just vapor4life or the 510's.

In summary, if some experienced users could spell out the more technical aspects, in as much detail as the tool needed to pull off the white peice that would be appreciated.

Here's another thread about the V2.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/111681-v2-cigs-best.html

Is the white piece you're talking about a soft rubber cap?

If it's a KR808 you can purchase soft cap cartomizers and fill them yourself. The cap is easy to remove with a binder clip or you can purchase a drip tip that you just fit on the end of the cartomizer that you just pull on and off to refill the cartomizer. I'd remove the cartomizer from the battery because I assume it's an automatic battery and the battery can be damaged if you get juice in the battery.

Not sure why you're getting an inconsistent vape because I'm not really familiar with the v2. I am familiar with KR8808's and you do get a better, more consistent vape with cartos you fill yourself as opposed to prefilled cartos.

KR808 can be purchased from numerous vendors. V4L, LiteCigUSA, Ikenvape all carry them.

While it is cost effective to refill cartomizers, they do wear out....some try to clean them....me , I just pitch em with they start to taste bad. I think Swedish is right. get some blank ones to refill, they always taste better.....

thx guys. Yea its just a weird taste off and on. I will be getting some blanks. They have some on the v2 site that look good but I've also seen discussions of bloog, etc. Old style cartomizers vs. new style, I don't know where the one's on their site stand, how other ones will fit on mine, what can fry the battery that kinda stuff. I just wanna be an expert already haha

Never used a V2 but if it is a kr808 like you say you can get any kr808 battery. They are essentially all the same. Don't pay premium prices for a name. That goes for most things vaping. Looking at their site they are at least 2x as expensive as you can find other places just so you know. $30 for a kit with 2 batteries is more like it. I get any small battery kr808 stuff HERE. There are a few things to note about cartomizers. The resistance determines how hot and therefore how much vapor will be produced. If you want more vapor try looking for 808 cartos that are 2ohm. Your kit probably came with 3ohm. Look at the suppliers page to find a good place to get supplies. Sites like V2 are geared to gouging easy money out of people just starting e cigs. You can get a 808 to 510 adapter at a site like THIS and use any 510 atomizers or cartomizers on your battery. Keeping your carto wet will help it last longer and produce better vapor. Don't expect to get more than 4 days or so out of one. The advertising does not represent reality when it comes to cartomizers. I suggest getting a usb passthrough for about $15. You can plug it into any usb (computer, car adapter, wall adapter) and vape all day without running batteries. If you only have one battery get another one. Always have a backup handy. Here's a link just in case. 808 manual battery Well this is the basic stuff you need to know. Now just get out there and find some good juice and good luck

I've heard good things about bloog. I wouldn't bother with the V2 site any more. Your small batteries shouldn't be used with very low resistance cartos. I think they state not to use below 2.5ohm on a standard 808. I'm sure many use 2ohm without problems. Using very low resistance like sub 2 ohm on small batteries can damage and shorten the lifespan. You will also get less runtime on a charge the lower the resistance is. They essentially let more current flow through the carto. Not sure about old vs new. Standard cartos are standard cartos. Bloog is a newer design. There are bottom coil versions I haven't tried yet. There are some premium filler cartos but I can't speak to those. metal Ce2's and Ce2 clearomizers could be considered new I suppose. They are my goto for over a year. I recommend getting used to what you have first as Ce2's have a learning curve and slight modification needed. Same goes for Vortex (G4's) Dual coil Cartos are new and I like them a lot. However these are 1.5ohm and should be used with large battery mods with IMR high drain batteries so no go. There are a lot of EGO related cartos. The joye ego is a device I think most on the forums would recommend. It gives much longer battery performance. There are mega/xl cartos you could look into for longer use between fills. Just so you know there is a lot of rebranding so there are many names for the same exact thing. This goes for much of vaping. Any kr808 cartomizer or atomizer will fit on your device. The kr808 refers to the connector you have. a standard 510 batt is the same diameter as an 808 just with a different connector. You can use an adapter to use any style you want. Check out madvapes a good site all around for just about anything you might need. There is just so much info to assimilate and so many things to try. That's the fun (and expensive) part for me. If you have any questions the forums here to help. Man I was in a long winded mood today :)

It sort of sounds like your cartomizers are not properly saturated with juice all the way through.
Other cartomizers users can offer some refilling tips that can help you with those issues.
