next co-op?

I have a few co-op questions, if anyone knows...?

1. Does anyone have any information on when the next (possible) co-op is? (I keep missing out on them, and want to stay on top of it!)

2. Have we done Heaven's Gifts? If not, is there a reason?
(I want a few things from there, and need to know if I should go ahead and try one on my own.)

1. Co-op's up to this point have been kinda spuratic and on a volunteer bases. Nothing really scheduled. So no IDK when the next one will be. I'm hoping to make it a more regular thing but we shall have to see.

2. Yes, Jules did a Heavens Gifts a way back. However we arnt likely to do another as they have dropped their shipping to 3.00 and have no MO....no reason to anymore.

Well for this one I'm working on right now....
If you where to order on your own eastmalls...shipping is flat rate at 15.00 and has a mo of 35.00

average person paid about 4.00 for shipping from both the company and from me.
and the average order was around 25.00

So basically the cheapest amount you can pay to EM is 45.00...I had folks pay as little as 12.00.
Everyone saved around 10-12.00 on shipping. Despite shipping the goods twice.

heavens gifts dropped their shipping to 3 bucks?? seriously??? oh baby, if that's true, I'm all over that!

Is it safe? Did you have any problems? Has anyone ever? That you know.. that isn't a supplier?

As with any shipment from China, you take the risk of it being siezed by customs. I have not however, heard of any recent siezures.

Though there still could be a benefit to doing a heavens gifts co-op.. what with their 110 ml of flavorings for 9.50. Split those up into 10ml or so.. or whathave you and.. that could certainly be a co-op. Though.. Granted., not exactly sure where HG flavorings rate.

With the juice: I think that is what makes it the most risky. That is what could "potentially" hold up a shipment, or have it seized altogether. you are better off going in on one of the co-ops over at TV or the likes.

Not the juice. Just the flavorings. HG sells just the flavorings. Not sure if 'candy flavorings' would trigger the FDA fist or not.. but..

Didn't get that far. Do you know what brand of flavorings? (I can't imagine flavor triggering the FDA, but it's possible I suppose, since it's liquid. ?)

What I'd really like to do a flavor art co-op
think we could get some pretty good saving with one. however..If I do another flavoring split I've got to start charging for bottles(sorry) but yall killed me on bottles ;p


Lbug, I've ordered several times from HG. Havnt had any problems yet. Most orders got here in about ten days, did have one take 14 but that was the longest.

I "think" that HG is trying to not be a bulk supplier they want to be a reseller direct supplier.
B/C they dropped all the incentives for other resellers really. There is no free ship over so much, for most things there isnt a discount for bulk, and for the ones that there is...it's 20% off at most. Retailers need more then 20% off to profit.

cool beans. Thanks for the info! I REALLY want several of the things listed there, but was wishy washy about the whole "seizures" and "high shipping".
Got to thinking last night tho, if I buy from 3 or 4 different places locally, that have the stuff I want/need- all that shipping adds up. Might as well pay one (higher) fee and catch all the savings at once.

SALTY: If they have the cartos you need at Heavens Gifts, LMK, I'll be placing an order soon. (next few days) and can add it on, no problem.

UT: if you do the flavor one again, I'm in! That was a great deal!! and OF COURSE you should count bottles! Girl, I can't believe you didn't. Fruitcake! That must have cost you a fortune!

Well with FA you can get 100ml for 18.99 and there is a 20% charge for some health tax they wont let other countries skip plus shipping
So the math would be ((18.99 * 0.2) + 18.99)/ 100 = 0.2278 a ML
a 6ml sample would run 1.36
10ml 2.278

if we up it for the 250ml thats ((25.32 *0.2) +25.32)/250= 0.1215
6ml 0.79
10ml 1.20

Shipping is based weight levels...have to play with the cart to find where the levels are.

Dude.. Totally go with the 250 ML Course.. That's like 25 10 mils. O_O That'd require alot of people to work out. Or people who want like 20 - 30 ml at a time. And of course charge for the bottles!

If you do want to do this.. I could totally be in for it next month.

The main reason is because ordering large quantities is usually cheaper. Even from smaller suppliers, there is usually a slightly decreased cost/unit the more units you buy at once.

Also I can do an FA co-op for you guys if you'd like, I have a wholesale discount up to 35% on large orders.

I'd be into an FA co-op. I've yet to get my feet wet trying to DIY and this would be a good way for me to get started. Unless someone else knows of some sort of kit that would be a better way for me to start. I've been afraid to take the plunge.
