Hi,

So I have a renamed super mini called Nova Smoke (401). I am really happy with it and like that it looks and feels like analog (yes i'm still stuck there). But I can see the need for another kit and am wondering what other models are good and why (their benefits). I've researched a lot on youtube and google but am here at the horse's mouth looking for sage advice. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Also, I just got a KR808D-1 (yesterday? day before?) and it's really good too -- BUT you'll likely want to have the personal charging case if you go this way.

It's smaller in size (not as small as a cigarette, but similar) and comes in a two piece cig: battery + cartomizer. Simple and easy to use but not as versatile as the 510 or eGo kits if you are wanting to try out a whole bunch of different vaping methods.

I guess it depends on how much you want to fiddle with all the different ways to vape and how much you want to spend (the KR808D-1 is more expensive than the 510/eGo series if you get the PCC too).

For real Joye 510 - Cignot.com and LiteCigUSA.net

Consider the longer manual mega xl 510 batteries - a standard 510 battery will not last as long as an M401 battery. M401 is 210mah. Standard 510 is 180mah. 510 Mega XL batteries are 280mah but make the ecig a lot longer - 138mm w/ atomizer and cart or 128mm w/ standard cartomizer (the way I use them). And if you end up with a combination of short and long 510 batteries at any point, VaporKings.com sells a Mega xl PCC with an adapter for the short 510 batteries.

If you decide to get the standard short 510, also look at NoSmokeVA.com - I don't think their 510 is Joye brand but they has a nice PCC and kits with the PCC and that PCC does accept manual short 510 batteries. Downside - the lid holds the battery in for charging - if you open the lid you probably need to restart the charging. It hold 2 standard 510 batteries (one can be charging) and 6 other short items (attys, carts, or cartos with the condom off)

And you might want to also look at Vapor4Life.com manual ecigs - that's the KR808D-1, a dedicated 2-piece. I use both 510 and KR808D-1 (mine is Vapor4Life). Those are the two most popular slim ecigs on the forum. Vapor4Life shorties are 180mah, standard is 280mah and about 120mm longer w/ a carto, xl are 280mah and do not fit in the PCC. I think Vapor4Life has a somewhat hotter hit than 510 and their carto flavors are very strong (but you can use blank cartos, or just refill their prefilled ones with whatever you want). Prefilled is only a small benefit - you add juice to cartos to keep them damp so you can get 4-7 days use out of each.

I use cartos on both 510 and Vapor4Life

thats great info. I just ordered a 501 kit from litecigusa with a bunch of spare parts as well, got some other parts for my 401 and some re-juice while i was at it. Thanks for the lead. The prices are really great on that site for what the quality is. Some of the chinese vendors are charging that price for what are likely knock offs.

LiteCigUSA is my favorite place to buy parts and cartos. Next time you are there, get some of the blank 510 Boge Cartomizers (not the LR ones - those can only be used on fat-battery 510s like Ego and Riva). They are nice soft-cap cartos. I use one on my 510 and since I vape the 510 1/2 the time I can get 3-4 weeks use out of a Boge 510 carto. I really enjoy the convenience of cartomizers. I use the atty for dripping or trying new juices or for juices I don't want a whole carto of. I use both 510 and Joye 306 (standard resistance) attys on my 510 (the 306 needs different 306 carts and drip tip).
