Sad thing is alot of vendors say alot of claims towards there products however have no real base to them. Infact most people find out later that it is the exact opposite of what they claim haha.

Best thing to do is read / watch reviews on products you maybe intrested in do research and then purchase. Sorry to hear you arnt having a good time with your ecig however dont give up there is awesome products for you just youtube some reviews or check out ECF's review forum here.

Yeah, it's a total lie. Carts don't last unless you keep filling them all day.

You CAN improve the results by replacing the white filler with an alternate filler like the "Marineland rite size U" like this:
YouTube - Marineland Filter Cart MOD

But most vapers prefer either drip tips or cartomizers for all day vaping. I can't vouch for the vendors I linked, I only linked them so you could see the pictures.

Good luck! :)

Who told you they would last long? M401 is the length of a mini but the diameter of a super-mini. Super-mini carts have extremely tiny juice cups. BTW you can just spend 75 cents for the precut 510 blue foam at strictlyejuice.com and cut those down for M401 carts (1/10 the price of buying the bulk Marineland foam)

Also search Youtube for M401 Blue Foam

I cut mine about 2/3 the inner length of the juice cup, a tiny bit wider and I taper the inner end a bit. I have blue foam in my M401 cart (I am still using my first cart). M401 manual was my first ecig and it got me through the first month but by the end of the month I had bought both 510 and Vapor4Life to try and now I have full setups of those and only vape the M401 at home as an extra flavor I can pick up. M401 has excellent flavor which you may not realize if you have only tried prefilled carts. But after a month, I was pretty tired of messing with the cart all the time! The blue foam helps keep the flavor nice and is easy to take out, rinse and pat dry, put back in. For a full fill, remove the blue foam, fill juice cup 1/2 way with juice, insert the tapered end of the blue foam and push it down into the juice (I use an unbent small smooth paperclip). Then using the paperclip reposition the foam even with the top of the juice cup. Then use the cart-plug gently to push the juice cup back down into the mouthpiece without dislodging the stuffing. Sometimes the blue foam slips in. You could try a full-length plug to start.

Re carts - if your inner juice cups have a flat side and a big 1/8 inch spike on the bottom, those are the old carts. The new ones are no larger but I prefer them for filling - they have a rounder juice cup with no spike. MyPVShop.com's blank 401 carts are the newer type.

I wish i could get 30 drags off my ego before topping off, I use a reular 510 atty and cart and Im lucky if I get 15 puffs, lol. Dripping may not be for you as you could have an automatic battery (no button) and the juice will find its way into the internals of said battery rendering it useless within a short time.

I have an M401 as well but have decided to risk it and drip as its not my everyday PV, if it dies it dies. The carts are useless because of their size no matter what filler you put in there.

Thanks for the tips and experiences. Its not that I'm having a bad time with the 401, just surprised at the cart capacity = analogs. Actually I love this e-cig I got. But I thought I would only need one cart a day, not five. No biggie. The case it came with holds 5 carts and I have lots of e-juice and spare carts to refill as needed. I will try the blue foam. I saw the video before on youtube but didn't know what to make of it. Tapering the foam is a great idea! I already refill in the order: juice, foam, juice - but the taper will allow more space for juice - awesome!

Neon - try sartomizers on the Ego - try standard resistance Boge soft-caps or since you have Ego you could use the LR ones if you want (hotter and use your battery faster)

Note - you may need to remove the cone from the Ego or alternately buy a 510 extender to life the carto up above the cone. The cartomizer will take the place of the atomizer and cart. If you fill it totally to start and keep it damp, you may get a week or more reuse out of a Boge carto. You can get more drags before it needs juice. Just don't run it dry or you could singe the stuffing.
