Grateful we were talking about coatings , they will be ANODIZED , this allows the most color variation and a very durable surface finish.

The colors will be limited at first ( it cost a setup charge for each color ) so I plan on running 50 each per color so ? this is for the " BUZZ "

The VVPV will be painted. with a CHROME TOP COVER !!!
Sounds awesome look forward to these mods!

Scott I just looked for Alodine conversion colors and I am not finding colors can you point me to a web site ? I find Henkel as the maker of the alodine process.
I'm not sure but I've only seen alodine in bright to dark gold. Maybe Scottbee knows where you can get it in colors.

....8. 300,000 cycle life switch.....

Got here late. Sorry.

Is the switch user replaceable? If I'm correct that an average user will take 2-300 drags per day, this averages a lifespan of three to four years. While I hope we all quit by choice by then, it would be nice for a high end PV to be usable longer than this.

I hope you will set up a jig and actually test some of the switches you choose. A computer won't get bored doing this.

I design products with switches that are used much less frequently and we've been unpleasantly surprised a few times after a product has been in the market for a while.

I actually upgraded it ti a 1,000,000 cycle switch !:D , they are made by C&K switches one of the largest and best know QUALITY switches made in the world , there is no testing I could do that would come anywhere near what they do all day so I will not be testing it on my own.

But I will ask them for the test data and MTBF on the switch I am using .

It is not a user replaceable switch , it is on a PCB that is potted into the device. ( this is for liquid sealing from the juice that EATS things )

( potting is a sealing process that seals the electronics )

Thanks I will make up a list , Have you ever seen the bright purple anodizing they use in high end speed boats ? it is cool !

BTW these thing things ROCK on cartomizers @ 5.5 volts

Thanks to Harpo for the cartomizers !! he went above and beyond the call of duty and sent me some !!!

Oh Man, Why didn't i think of that  Someone just guaranteed a spot in the beta testing line :)

I have killed the 5 cartomizers I had ( gotta get some more !) I ran them @ 4.5-4.75 volts and that was the spot for me , over 5 volts and they got a burnt taste to them.

I have the machined parts on order ( 20 days ) is the lead time I was quoted . so about 30 days to full production , I have 250 on order so there should not be any delays after I have production up and running.

We are a professional MFG of many products not just E-cigs.

6 Beta test units went out today to some good guys

Just for fun heres a picture of the pre-production units , you can see the adjustment Pot and Led + activate switch , they are knurled outside for better grip as well .

Are you serious? You already blew through 4 atomizers? You must be letting them get to dry. When you get more make sure you top off more. I have yet to blow one. I have some that I've refilled 10 plus times. After awhile performance starts tapering off but a quick cleaning and most of them vape like new.

By the way I use mine exclusively on high voltage.

They got pretty nasty tasting and took a long time to heat up ? ( Newbie ! ) I am going to get some more they taste really good at the start !

They are disposable. As soon as the flavor drops off I refill them. At a buck a piece it really doesn't matter if you get one or ten refills. It's nice when you can get a few refills out of them. Saves a few bucks.

I was doing the condom method refill , they just tapered off pretty fast but for that price WTH !

It's better than burning up $8 attys , BTW the BUZZ and the Varivolt setup is prolonging the atty life ALOT !

I keep burning them up in testing though , I switched to wire wound resistors now @ 25 watts so no more sacrificed atty's

Resistors are a hell of alot cheaper than an atty.

Did you order more carto's yet? If so, when you get them make sure you clean them with hot water about every other fill.

By the way what voltage are you using for standard atties? How long are they lasting?

ANywhere from 4.25 tp 4.75 volts , same on the cartoz ( that is just where my taste buds say to run )
The beauty of the control is that I can tune it to the atty , I have some 401's I am trying and one of them liked 4.75v the other 4.25v ? I checked the resistance and one was 2.8 ohms and one 2.6 ohms so I was able to find the right vaping spot for both of them.

I liked the cartoz @ 4.5-4.75v

But that is ME so ? to each his own VOLTAGE lol

Thanks for the answer. That's been my experience with the carts not doing well at over 3.7v. So the high voltage atomizer would work great on 5v. There are new design cartomizes out -they hold more liquid but I don't think if they'll do any better than the old ones.

Course the cartomizers are cheap enough to replace frequently even if they burn out.

I'm a little confused. I see three details; in the pic at left, a blue dome facing the camera and a pink convex protrusion to the right. In the pic at right, I see a round dot near the base which I'm guessing is a vent. Could you please tell us which detail is what? Is the LED integral to the switch cover? Can it be bypassed (turned off so as not to call attention)?

BTW, from an earlier post: I've specified your switch vendor, C&K, decades ago. They were a quality house. I'm sure they still are.

It depends on the cartomizer. I have some that don't work as well below 5 volts and I have some (especially my 510 cartos) that work better below 5 volts.
