I was joking about 2009 sorry bud guess it was funnier in my head. But I was serious about bottom feeders. I know with my juicbox once my liquid turned dark the taste changed. After throwing out about 5ml twice because it got dark and tasted funny, I sold my juicebox. With top feeders you don't ruin extra juice. Maybe 10ml was just to much liquid. I don't know.

I have never used a CJB so I am speculating but most likely it is due to bleed back into the bottle when the juice is hot ? just my first guess . It has to come from somewhere right ?

I want to thank you guys for discussing these issues and ideas , it really helps to bring forward problems that have happened before. Keep it up .

Attys get build up on them we all know that. With a bottom feeder the juice washes over the atty, then drains back down. If the atty has buildup on it it then washes back down with the extra juice. I believe this helps with the life of the atty while ruining the juice that is left. This didn't happen if I put in 2-4ml. It was at about the 5ml mark my juice would turn dark color. I only had once that I saw a particulate in the juice mostly just color change. Maybe if it had a 5ml bottle instead of 10ml it wouldn't have happened. At least it wouldn't have been as noticeable.

lol-haha- Angus-Do you just like the shiny ones or is the boxed feel what you like????

I pretty much want anything new that has new features for me to play with. While I would love to find an "OMG this is the perfect PV and I'll never need another one again in my life ever!!!!" kind of PV, I'll just have to settle for purchasing all the new toys I can afford.

We know you do Angus, you are a PV ...... Nice looking units though I cant wait for them to come out. I really like the adjustable voltage option on the Buzz and the color coordination on both and the quality looking design of them. Now we will be able to really dial in the sweet spot and find out what ours really is.

Believe it or not my SWEET SPOT changes throughout the day ! In the morning it is a little lower voltage and then increase's towards mid day and gets stronger at night.
I tend to use lower nic juice at night ( so I am not up all night ! ) and lower it before bed to the morning level.

So you can change the voltage to keep " IN THE ZONE " all day !

Any interest in a DESK TOP version ?

I'm using a test rig right now that has the controls and charger of the VVPV in a desk top box with an LED and modified old passthru that has the switch built into the passthru tube , I plan on putting an LED voltmeter into the box as well ,so you can just read out the voltage setting, adjust the voltage with a control Potentiometer ????, I might look into making these as well ? It would be a great rig for the Computer guy

I'd be interested in seeing some pictures of it.

I think there's even more market for a portable version with a built-in voltmeter, though it would probably be prohibitively difficult/expensive to make. The IC7107 is a voltmeter-on-a-chip which is available in a 13mm QFP and can be had very cheap in reasonable quantity. That, plus a tiny 2-digit, 7-segment LCD (digital watch size) could certainly be integrated into a mod like the VVPV. You could integrate something like that into a tube-style mod as well, but it would take some ingenuity.

I'm not going to pretend to know how much something like that would drive up the cost of an already expensive mod, but it might be worth looking into.

Nice work Buzz. I would think you could get decent resolution out of a slider pot. 12 turns for 2.4V adjustment is a lot of resolution. I'm not complaining by any means. It would all depend on the resistance values needed (I think I know what your using so in that respect I can understand the 12 turns). The design looks very user friendly and clean. It's about time someone did this. My hats off to ya.:)

Beta testing begins next week on the " BUZZ " ! pre-production units are here.

According to my supplier they are 2.5-3.5 weeks from mass production delivery ? ( not always how it works out ! )

All other parts are here and ready to go.

They will be anodized bodies with Brass adapters and 1,000,000 cycle switches.

First run 100 units.

I will NOT take pre-orders ! , If you are interested please sign up on the web site, it is first come first served.

Thanks for being patient , I am rushing the hell out of this but will not put out an untested product.
