I was reading a post about e-cigs banned on airlines (I understand why) but as I do fly from time to time, and HATE patches and gum, I was wondering how effective unflavored nic juice would be with a few drops on the skin.

I DIY all my juice, and frequently get some of 60mg strength on my hands, but I've never felt a buzz off that. Some people have though, and I'm wondering since VG is marketed as a skin protectant anyway if I could just drop a few drops on my hands mid flight to get my nic fix.

Anyone tried this before?

I've seen it mentioned before, perhaps in travel, someone putting a drop or two on their wrist.

I have zero knowledge of the absorption mechanism, certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone since I have zero clue of what a "reasonable" mg of nic liquid would be, or how much to try, but this sounds similar to the nicotine patch.
