Nic Juice

(yes. Very important not to forget the percentage of your drops!)

Personally, I like Xtremevaping. I have purchased nic from about 5 different places with VERY mixed results. Now - since they have not altered in taste - I will not recommend against purchasing on sale (I am very frugal and almost always buy sale stock) however... The coloring changed drastically.

I had all nic bottles for >6 months the were kept all sealed -except- the current bottle... The nic from Xtreme stayed clear in color. The nic from Osdiys tinged ever slightly. The nic from MFS tinted a bit more. The nic from Bluemist turned almost brown.
(I even had an open bottle of Levy's nic that did not turn)

IMHO I'd rather pay a bit more for juice that is not going to turn colors. But that's just my 2c

I'd have to find the thread on it but... how clear your nic is (assuming it is actually pure otherwise) doesn't matter. That's oxidization and when you end up putting it in your PV to vape it by heating it, it is going to get that yellow color before you inhale it anyhow.

That's why I am not going to say you 'shouldn't' buy sale juice... it's not going to harm you (assuming, of course, it's not gone bad, and it's only oxidizing from contact with oxygen)

Supposely.. none of them should have turned that dark. They were all in sealed bottles. Once opened, and exposed to oxygen, then you would naturally expect them to darken with age (and any aging will darken them a bit)

However, the amount that these bottles turned, surprised me. With the money I put out to purchase the nicotine, I would much rather spend a few extra dollars for the assurance that they aren't going to start turning. To me, that provides me with more time to use those bottles. Remember, they were all less than six months old. As it turns out, I started to give those away, because I didn't want them to get any darker before being used (so in the long run they ended up costing me more)

There is no evidence to suggest that they had turned (or were turning) bad.. .and I have been using those darker bottles first (with no noticable taste difference). In the long run, I just think it's worth it to me, to pay a few extra dollars, for nic that isn't going to turn so quickly (and without cause)

Of course.. that's strictly my opinion. I'm just sharing my experience. :)

I'm not sure about BlueMist turning "almost brown". You are keeping them in colored bottles right? I've read that they will last longer if you can minimize the amount of oxygen in the bottle.

I still think that it is a bad idea to suggest people to pay 50%+ extra just for juice that is more purely clear when it arrives, since it is all going to yellow when it is actually used... If your BlueMist really turned that brown, maybe there is a problem with their quality.

Odd, months now mixing everything with the voidmist stuff, no smell at all from any bottle or any of the juices. Does have ethyl alcohol in it, which I seen as a plus to cut the 20% vg we use in all our bases now. Maybe thats why I dont have any wicking issues with stock ce2s with no PTB mods 8) and other people are burning the hell out of everything with them.

I agree! I bought a 120 ml bottle of 60 mg from voidmist and it was basically odorless! Good juice and at the best price I can find anywhere! The 120 ml is $16 bucks and with the 50% coupon code they offer sometimes it is $8! I actually got lucky and got in on the 60% off price so even better!
While I buy some stuff locally and even pay a little more for atties and such to have it right now! I will continue with voidmist for my unflavored nic liquid!

what aren't you sure about?

The coloring? The fact of them changing? The safety? I'm not following your question.

I kept it in the bottle it came in. It is not a colored bottle. I didn't want to switch bottles since it arrived to me in a sealed container. However, I do store all my nic bottles in a light tight box.

Don't get me wrong.. the nic was NOT a dark brown murky coloring. As compared to the clear nic.. it was 'almost brown' tinted. Not something I would want to pay for again, and since I ended up giving a lot of it away.. so it could be used up before it went bad.. or before I felt like I needed to throw it away.. it ended up costing me MORE than the higher priced nic juice. (I am also Extremely frugal, and always stock up on sales. Esp. Hardware and supplies. Nic- I'm pickier)

I am not telling anyone they should buy this.. or they should buy that. As I said before, I am only relaying my experiences. Take it or leave it. In the end.. it's your money, and you can buy whatever you want. That's the beauty of it all! :)

I dunno anymore haha... I agree, I like people being able to choose, and I kind of see the argument more now for not just jumping on any sale. I'm trying out another place and will see how they are and maybe my mind will change. I just don't like some of the posts I see people making, seems very suspect. You know what would be great, a thread where people post only something like, I ordered Xml/Xmg on X date from X supplier for $x -- then here's a picture of the nic and we can all see how yellow/clear it is.

It is hard going on forum opinion, especially when a lot of people are fans and would tell a person their crap don't stink when it fact it was truly a turd. :) Sometimes there are bad batches too. I've ordered things that were awesome and then got stuck with a turd on the reorder or vice versa. Roll the dice.

Yep.. yep. I agree with you both. I'm not a fan of the fanboys!
I also LOVE a good deal.. truly do (I give a lot away.. so a good sale is even more important)

I also have nic from 5 places, as I said.. I didn't just buy from one. In fact, at one time, I probably had more Bluemist nic juice than any other.. just from the good prices. And I've been using it... I gave it to friends, and I've been using it up first. There was no noticible taste difference, or difference in my DIY stuff from this nic ... I HAVE to make that clear. I do not want to bad mouth them.. the nic was NOT bad, AFAIK.

(I'll see if I have enough left to take a good pic. That's a great idea)

I do try and buy from the sales.. and I do stock up on sales. I don't revisit places (especially if they cost more) unless *I* feel that they are superior. But that's my choice. I get to choose where to save my money, and where to send it. I make all my juice, so I prefer to use X brand of nic, Y brand of drops, and Z brand of glycerin. My money.. my choices. (but I do think it's important for us all to share our experiences.. helps us gain knowledge.)

Can't go wrong with Voidmist. 60mg stuff so you can mix it down to 80/20 pg/vg and still keep the nicotine level high. Remember that if your ordering the weaker stuff. Lots of sales there, I keep using 50%off and it keeps working

5 bottles in the back are 120ml a pop, enough to last quite a while !

I picked up the same nic juice but it seems to make my head feel really weird after vaping it. I cut it down to 12mg so I dunno why. None of my old stuff ever bothered me before. Could be the ethyl maybe?

I've kind of learned my lesson buying Nic juice, I only buy 250ml's at a time now and it last me quite a while and I mix and vape like a freight train. I like buying fresh and most of the time there is a sale on Nic I find its not the freshest and that's why theres a sale on it. If it looks to good of a deal there is usually a reason from my findings and suppliers like to always have fresh too and that's why they do blow out sale prices because they want to re up for there own stock. There is really no reason I can think of to have a gallon of Nic juice at one time for personal stock, so buying once every 3 months is what I do. I've been buying from Levy @ Etremevaping.com for about a year and a half now and he ALWAYS has a great quality fresh lot of juice, usually a few different lots and even gives you a choice and mixes it in any VG/PG % you want. Ya definitely gotta be careful buying Nic juice, I've purchased from a few that I wouldn't use to exterminate my yard with to kill the bugs with so I stick to who I know and it's always darn good stuff, extra clean and it's all he sells, not juice mixes, it always has a lot# & Exp date on it as well, and everyone's should. Just my opinions of course and $0.02

I recently purchased some nicotine from gourmet vapors. EXp date and clear. It is a nicotine made by the box elder chemical company in Utah.

I also have Extreme vaping nicotine. Great stuff.
Also I recently tried the void mist. I had no problems with it. I suppose I should have looked closer on the site when I first ordered. Yeah I jumped the gun and didn't scroll down to see the alcohol added. However, I find the throat hit excellent.

A new vendor I am going to try is NicVape. However, right now I have 3 bottles of nictotine to use up.

Unfortunately his prices on PA flavors aren't really competitive yet and 10ml is an odd size. I do like that he is looking at FW and FA, so time will tell. I was curious what he will set regular nic prices at after the "50% off" sale. I guess I haven't been around long enough to really say but it looks like his are close enough to what one would get "sale shopping" to justify not doing so, assuming the nic quality stays up.
