I started vaping at 18mg when I was a 10 cigarette a day smoker, this was back in November. Since I started vaping I've had only 2 cigarettes, both of which I kind of regret as they tasted disgusting each time. Anyway, I never really set out to lower my nic level intentionally but it just sort of happened. I love chain vaping especially when I'm home alone and I'd often get headaches from too much nicotine so I stepped down to 12 and then to 6. Two weeks ago I descended from 6 to 3. This one I didn't do because I needed to but because I felt I might enjoy the flavor a little more if the nic was lower.
Only problem is my chain vaping causes me to spend way too much money and I enjoy "gourmet" flavors. But I tried out a B&M today that had lower prices but still good liquids from good ingredients that had great reviews. In the shop I did some testers and I settled on 2 different 15 ml flavors, both of which I got in 6 nicotine rather than 3 so I'd be slightly less crazy about chain vaping them. At this point I'm totally comfortable with either 6 or 3 though 3 I will tend to chain vape a little more.
Well after spending $22 on these two 15 ml flavors, not a great deal though I could have paid just $17 for a single 30 ml though I wanted some variety, the guy at the B&M offered me a "free grab bag." The only condition was that it's random and it's take it or leave it. So of course, I don't turn down free stuff.
Well, the free bag had four juices in total. 2 were 12 ml 12 nic. Not what I'm used to but I can vape them gently and enjoy them. The other 2 flavors were 18 nic and of course those were the 30 ml bottles. So for a total of $22 I got 114 ml of juice. Quite a prize, only half of that is 18 nic. Part of me wants to give them away. The VG/PG is respectively 60/40, exactly what I'm used to, so at least a high PG juice won't add a ridiculous TH on top of the already high nic.
Another part of me feels foolish for squandering this fortune (by the way, the juices aren't expired, their birth dates are last December and they've been stored in the dark and sealed so I'm quite certain they're good, and were simply given away because they were some less popular sellers or just because the owner was overstocked and wanted me as a new customer to feel grateful and come back, and I do feel grateful because 84 ml of free quality e-juice is pretty damn sweet).
I work part-time at a call center and money is tight. Should I consider trying out the higher nic, vaping less and saving more in the long run, or will I end up feeling physically awful for it and maybe I should just give them away to my higher nic vape friends? I think giving away the 18's but keeping the 12's would be a reasonable compromise but again, it's hard for me to deny how lucky I was to get this.
