If I wanted to buy some nic juice what would be the level I'd need to be around the same as a normal cigarette?

Thanks.

You need to post what type of PV you're using, the type of delivery system and the battery size. Also important to post the type and quantity of cig/ analog you are presently smoking.

I agree with Bdbodger. Start with 18 and go up or down from there.

Even with that being said I find some 18 hit like a 24. And some 24 (which I usually use) hit like a 12.

You really need to kinda try and see how it goes. Best thing to do if your placing an order is get a couple of bottles of each strength and test it out.

I don't know if I'd go that high. I'd agree that 18mg is a good starting point as it's pretty much right in the middle of the common strengths. I'd also stick with something like an 80/20 or 70/30 PG/VG mix because it has wicked well with pretty much every carto, clearo and tank I've used it with. Higher VG content (specifically, thicker juice resulting from it) can cause wicking issues to start creeping in depending on what you're using.

It may also depend on how much you smoke of what strength of cigarette as well (though not always) as that can determine how much nic you'll need to feel satisfied.

I like the 24mg just cause I can limit my vaping time and it satisfies me more. Don`t get me wrong 18mg is good too. It all depends on how much you used to smoke.

True. But when you're new to vaping it can take a while until you kind of find out what your vaping habits are like -- how often you vape, what you like to vape, how strong you like to vape, how much throat hit you like, etc. From my point of view I think it helps to start in neutral territory/middle of the road and adjust up or down as your personal tastes and needs develop -- and as you figure out where your nic tolerance lies most importantly. I started at 18, found the TH wasn't sufficient for me (for the hardware I was using at the time), upped it to 24mg and was quite satisfied there for a while, at least until I upgraded my PV and attachments and my body started getting those nic overdose symptoms from the extra vapor I was getting and I had to cut down to 12mg.

Either way you go though there's almost certainly going to be tweaking you'll have to do, whether it's hardware or juice, until you find your sweet spot. Starting in the middle I think just makes the distance you need to travel potentially a little shorter in either direction.
