I am wondering if folks would mind including the nic strength they are vaping when they mention flavors they like, dislike, or are otherwise mentioning.

As a newbie (waiting for my first shipment), I am anticipating needing to make another cartoz/juice order pretty soon, and would like to avoid spending too much on mistakes. (I'm one of those who is trying to get off analogs AND save money!)

When I made my first order, I ordered all the same strength (18mg) because I just couldn't decide which ones to order lower/higher! I have seen a few comments that discuss how nic strength affects flavor, and they have been super helpful for a newbie.

For example: I am curious what folks would recommend as a flavorful vape in the lower nic ranges (0,4,8 and 11mg)...for pre-bedtime, or "I've vaped too much nic but still want to keep vaping" times.

I have tried really hard to do searches, and to read up on stuff for newbies, but I am having a hard time finding this info. Please link me up if it is out there already somewhere!

Thanks, all! Happy 4th!

Newlou, I find it hard to recommend flavs, but here are two issues I've noticed when trying dozens of flavs: the flavs themselves are generally purer at lower nic levels, and taste buds adapt pretty quickly to the change in nic levels (either up or down). Thus, I haven't found that I like a flav at one nic level but not at another. Of course, YMMV.

Amazing that you noticed/remembered my VG tastes--you're a great student! You may also remember that I prefer the taste of PG and always recommend that first unless someone has some sensitivity to PG. That's my scene, at least for now, although I have a stash of dozens of PG flavs that I hope to return to some day.

No, I've never vaped anything below 8mg, so I really can't help you there. But if I had to pick just one VG to recommend (it's my mainstay), I'd choose the Chocolate Milk. Note that it's listed simply as Chocolate on the site. Other VGs that I prefer are Smilin Menthol, Mint, Menth, and Red Bull. You may have heard that some new VG premiums will arrive later this year, which means that the prices for the older versions are quite low right now. I don't mind that a bit.

I'm sure that others (MaryKay?) with prefs for lower nics will be along shortly with better suggestions for you. Good luck!

Thanks, jeffree! (Have you ever seen "Bill Cosby-Himself"? I can't help but think of his great bit in that movie that features "Jeffrey, Jeffrey, Jeffrey!"

I always learn a lot from your posts, and appreciate your insight into the PG/VG issue. I already struggle with acne issues at times (I'm too old, but...) anyway, I am ready to consider VG as an option, after a suitable time of using the recommended PG flavors!

I appreciate the kind words, Newlou. I've learned from others here, too--lots of great folks around to help. Yeah, I'd stay with PG unless you really have the need to experiment, as I did. The PG flavs are wonderfully potent these days.

That said, I do like VG's great clouds of vapor, but the older carto technology and muted flavs won't appeal to all. The newer prem versions should help, though. If you do experiment at some point, I'd suggest giving the VG at least two weeks. My body needed that long to adapt, and since then, I've grown quite comfortable with the VG tastes.

I really like Bill Cosby, so I'll have to check my scene!

Good advice, thanks.

A warning about the movie...It is so funny that it made my sister-in-law go into labor (she was near her due date), and this is a tough one to watch while drinking anything....spit take!

Well how was your cigarette smoking up to this point, newlou?
What flavor(s) did you order for your first shipment?

I smoke about 1 1/2 to 2 packs per day of Parliament Light 100's (and if they only have the shorties, it is more. I smoke those suckers right down to the filter!) I am currently unemployed, so I find myself smoking lots more than I used to. I was without a smoke for about 4 or 5 hours today running errands, and I was totally jonez'in for several smokes by the time I got home!

I ordered all 18mg cartos of: Wow Peppermint, Premium Peach, Premium Milk Choc Macadamia Nut, and Premium Tobacco Shop sampler #2 (the one with Hilton, Kant, RY4, 555 and Dunhall). Since I am chain smoking right now, I was concerned about getting too high of nic strength, and making myself sick.

Now that there is a sale, I hope to be able to order some juice, and empty cartos, but I'll have to see. It's my birfday soon, tho', so I finally will have some $$ to be able to drop on the set-up. Once I've got my gear, I think I'll be able to save quite a bit of money, which would be awesome. (Smokes are $6/pack here in Mpls)

I hope I answered what you were asking about my cig smoking. Thanks!
