Nickel Allergy!

Hi all,

I bought my first rba today, and cant wait to receive it. My concern is that I have a nickel allergy, and wanted to know if anyone knows of a nickel-free drip tip. I'd love a wicked looking metal one but I'd be afraid to put it to my lips just to test out if I'm going to have a reaction. Thanx in advance!!

I really enjoy the Cherry vape drip tips. Their ceramic so should be no problem.

If it says SS it is Stainless, not Nickel
If it is Chrome, it has Nickel under the chrome to allow bonding, but should not be exposed at all.
Also plenty of Aluminum Tips
Lots of different Non-metalic tips available

Don't ever buy an old GGTS without asking what it's made of. Before the stainless steel GGTS one of the Revs were nickle plated aluminum. It's unlikely you will but you never know, just a heads up.

I have a friend who started vaping with a nickel allergy. He has random weird sensations and he was wondering if it was due to his nickel allergy. So I've been doing research on this subject and haven't found a lot of info. One thing I have found out is that nichrome wire contains nickel, and he only uses Chinese clearomizers that would presumably be using it instead of the kanthal most people use in RBA's. So I'm wondering if you experience any symptoms when using Chinese made clearo's, carto's, etc.?

@occultangle, I haven't had a problem with any of my clearo's. I've used stardust, T2, and currently using T3's.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking. When people start vaping and quit smoking they often go through all sorts of strange symptoms, and start thinking it's reactions to PG, VG, nickel, etc. etc. etc. I did it myself.
