Nickel plated mods

Well I ran 50 nickel plated mini mods just like the polished anodized mods I lost 60% of them to scratched doors.There will be very few nickel plated mini mods with nickle doors. I tried but this just wont work 60% is unacceptable.I will list the ones that pass qc the remainder I will use colored doors. Here are some picks

Is the nickle dark, like a gunmetal or lighter?

Thanks folks it was worth it to me to try it. The bodies came out pretty nice but its always the doors that burn me .The only way I will ever get perfect doors is if I start machining them myself.

Hi Rob, ever consider selling the scratched doors at a discounted rate? That way you wouldn't have to take a hit on the costs. I'd be more than happy to grab a few of these. Then I wouldn't have to worry about scratching the lovely finish on my Reos

Btw, selling the scratched doors isn't that bad of an idea ... For somebody out and about, maybe on a trip, a little less worrying about their beautiful mod may be worth it.
