Nicostik without on/off switch

Has anyone had any luck when NOT using an on/off switch in a "traditional" NicoStick (510 style with one 14500 battery)? I have most of the supplies but RS has the AA enclosure but it doesn't have the switch. I know I have the option of yanking one out of a 4xAA case but I don't wanna drill another whole for the switch and I don't want to have to pay shipping on a buck fifty part! Anyone have luck without the "power" switch?

Thats the same one i used on my first mod. It works just fine for me except it doesnt have the option "safety". But ya i like it just as much as mine with the on/off.

I'm on day 4 of a "nicostick" w/o on/off switch (RS 2 AA box). No problems. If you use the button in the tutorial, it's stiff enough to not activate in my jacket pocket. Now pants pocket I would worry about.

thats my largest concern. I may just make one w/o first cuz it'll be cheap, then if (and hopefully when) I like it I'll go and buy the better enclosure. Plus by then my soldering skills will be up to snuff.

yeah my nicostick doesnt have a on off switch i just took one out of one to lol i got a really springey switch so no worrys but im going to make one with it just for saftey purposes ive been using it for about a month to

just get in the habit of giving your atty a 1/4 turn when you're done vaping, viola, no power going to the atty, no accidental ignition.

How would you wire this in? Sorry I'm being a little dense here.

That's kinda my worry but I think I'm gonna try it out and see if I like it. If I don't then I didn't pay $9 for a battery holder. If I do then I only wasted $1.50 on a trial.

My Nicostick does not have a safety switch.
I just do not put it in my pants pocket.
I put it in my shirt pocket or jacket pocket.
But I am trying to build a booster box to get up to 5v, and that box has a switch, and a belt clip!!!!!

I like a lighter switch and burned an atty in my pocket by not having it switched off.

You can pick up switched 2AA boxes on ebay really cheap if you can wait for them. I thik I got 5 for 6 bucks with shipping included.

Or you could get this nifty one with a belt clip for $1.75. It got to be for the Ultra Geek vaper.

thats the boxes I bought with the belt clip. And the nice thing about them is the belt clips are removeable.
I just got in the caps for the ti booster board, man they are small. I am trying to find my fricking microscope so i can see it to pick it up, I don't know how i'm gonna solder it, LOL.

I got two. Both had them. Ran into some problems while traveling so got rid of them. Haven't replaced them either. Both are doing fine. All I do is unscrew the atty when not using.
