I don't want to assume, and I have tried a search of the forums, but can't seem to find the definite answer.

dual coils would give you twice (give or take) the nicotine of a single correct?
I am ignorant when it comes to volts, ohms, etc. and I figure that may play into a detailed answer.

So can I have it in general...and detailed if one is inclined?

I just figure, if I have two coils burning, I have upped my nicotine....which was not what i was intending to do. :(

Thanks in advance!

Nicotine content is primarily a factor of the mg measure of the ejuice you are using. However, since the dual coils tend to increase vapor production - ie. more ejuice being vaporized - there can be an increase in the amount you'd be absorbing in each draw. And the subject of absorption is one of those "ymmv" things. You won't be doubling the nic content because....

1. A dual coil carto isn't 'half' of what most single coil cartos are. (1.6 dcc vs 2.0 or 2.5 tops for the single coil carto say, at liberty flights) and...

2. While the ohms of a single coil vs a dual coil carto - even if it were 2x, once put through the formula for wattage - Volts/ohms x Volts - it doesn't double the wattage.

So while you should get more absorption with dual coils due to more vapor, you won't 'OD' if you're using the same mg ejuice. You might not find yourself 'power vaping' though - able to 'put it down for a while' :)

Good sources for the ohm/volt/wattage (and how that affects flavors) here:
