Sketchness, I found a sample bottle on their site (just popped out):

Carolina Xtraction Technologies Corp CXTC

Is that what you're using? 100 % PG? I've pretty much settlesd on Nude, I really like them, but I'm forever curious, so I'm tempted to order a small bottle.

I have the vg based nic from Carolina. Well every nic I have is VG as I vape max vg, but yes that is the nic. " Dada1 " gives a discount. I love nude as well and I think Carolina is a bit more smooth. Both are excellent nic in my opinion.

Could you link me to a VG sample? Small bottle? All I'm finding on their site are barrels of nic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Blue, the V3 contains ascorbic acid to prevent oxidation. Just making sure that you're aware of this. Below is my conversation with Kurt on the subject:

Hi Katya! Yes, I did read the description and the conversation you quoted. I figured that since my stash is likely going to last about 20 years, it might be worth it to have the extra help to deter oxidation over the long haul. If the reputation of Nude Nicotine among the people here is well deserved, I'm sure they've done the tests to make sure it won't have ill effects on the taste and quality of the nicotine in the short term.

In the long term, I don't think anyone knows what 20 years freezer storage can or will do, and if there is some degradation in flavor or strength, I'll find a way to compensate in the mix.

yeah 28.50 for 120 ml is crazy

It is pricey. With the discount code " Dada1 " and a glass 120ml bottle with dropper when you are finished with the nic it is only a few bucks more. Nude is 26 for 120 not in glass. Yeah I know some other lesser nics are much cheaper.

I figure if I am storing stuff for who knows how long I want the cleanest I can get. So my war chest will be several liters of nude, Carolina, and some nicselect from nicotine river.

That final price was with the discount code, you are just paying a whole lot more for a smaller size, lower price does not equal lesser quality.

$73/1000/ml for NS
$112/1000/ml for VT Premium
$105/1000/ml for NN
$174/1000/ml for CXT
versus $28 for 120/ml CXT

ETA: and you can not freeze it with the dropper top, traditional caps do not fit that bottle top so you would have to re-bottle it to freeze it... and I can not spell :)

I remember asking them once in an email and like Heartland, they would not divulge their source of nicotine. ;)

Yea, that's what I remembered as well. I've thought my big nic purchase through. I need to get 10 liters (I mix for 4 people). I'm going to get a gallon from nic river, 4 liters from MFS, and 2 liters of Nude Armor. I'm not too picky about nic. Nicselect was always good in my opinion and I have MFS from 2013 that is good enough. I think their current nic is cleaner from what I've heard. I'm going to order small bottles from NR and MFS today just to make sure I like it before going for the big score.

As much as I want to buy all Nude or VT, I just can't justify $1k+ for it.

To compare the cost of cheap nic vs Premium nicotine (eg: MFS vs VT).

To make one 30ml bottle of 10mg eLiquid.

Cheap $50 nicotine adds 15 cents to the cost of each bottle.

Premium nicotine adds 30 cents per 30ml bottle.

IMO, cheap nicotine is not worth trying to save 15 cents per 30ml bottle.

Particularly if one is looking at long term storage.

I look at it a bit differently. I have RTS nic from 2013 in my freezer and it's perfect today. Same as the MFS I have on hand. I don't think there is any difference between budget and premium nic IRT long term storage and that's the most important thing. They will always taste different from the day they are new till the day they get pulled out of the freezer. But as far as the oxidization process goes they are most likely identical.

My group isn't picky about Nic flavor or throat hit at all. We're all simpletons about it. I look at it like wine or bourbon. To a connoisseur, cheap wine or bourbon in a blind taste test is easy to distinguish. To me, a glass of Gallo or Evan Williams taste great and spending double the money doesn't benefit me personally.

I've had VT before and honestly I couldn't tell that much difference between it and anything else I have on hand. If anything it was too smooth. But everybody is unique of course. If I didn't like the nic I have I certainly wouldn't buy any more of it.

I paid $25 for a liter of TH, the least I have ever paid, and it is some of the nicest nick I have used. A whole lot of people think expensive=better. Well, sometimes yes and sometimes no. It just seems to make some people feel better to pay more, whether they are getting better quality or not.

I would be an eLiquid connoisseur then ... I can't mask over the taste of cheap nicotine with my recipes.

It always has that cheap nicotine undertone.

It may be vaping style. My little group is low power/MTL only. Like I said. Simpletons. lol. The unflavored I vape from time to time doesn't really taste like anything. Maybe a hint of tobacco leaf but mostly tastes a little sweet from the VG. I never had a great sense of smell. Playing guitar has pretty much taken a toll on my ears and age has me wearing reading glasses. lol

Nicselect was always good in my opinion

Agreed; I'm using NicSelect at the moment, having gotten a 50ml 100mg/ml sample from Alchem to test and review. I started with MFS years ago, but jumped to VT Nic about a month after the MFS experience. Between VT, NicSelect and Vape Clarity, I feel like I'm set for Nic choices that suit my tastebuds.
