I have some MFS nic from around last February that's been living in my freezer, been vaping this unflavored lately

It's picked up a slight tint, but not a 'new' smell beyond what a new bottle of WLR or MFS give me. The flavor is still spot on, in fact I think its improved. And if you're primarily an unflavored guy like me, these small changes are the stuff of life. This thing is like a fine wine now :)

I'm guessing whatever oxidizes over time (nic, trace tobacco residues, who knows) contributes significantly to this.

By way of comparison the WLI that I only touched recently since shortly after this review, remained exactly as it was in appearance and flavor before I put it in the freezer. Perhaps less trace residues in there.

Its funny that when you prioritize unflavored vaping these things take on a different significance. I intend to order more WLI when possible, for use with flavors, but I really find it a bit flat for unflavored use unless I'm really aching for a fix, and at that point, anything would be good. OTOH the MFS despite yellowing a touch has actually grown into a nice tobacco vape.

I think I've said it before too, but its remarkable how similar, especially now with age, the 'less pure' nicotines are to snus, minus the bergamot, etc of course

Does anyone have longevity observations they'd like to share on all the usual suspects? Wondering how ECX has held up for people, XTR, etc

Good Morning Mr. Vap,
Great minds think alike, the last few days I also have been vaping a mix of unflavored MFS. This was mixed from a 100mg all VG batch dated back in Nov. of 2011.

Over the next few weeks i plan to try some DIY. Was wondering if there is a consensus on which nicotine solution is best all round. I normally vape 70/30 pg/vg. Also, is it best or ok to get higher nicotine solution. I would rather buy larger quantities in order to save more money over time. Do you always freeze your stockpile? And, will frozen nic solution stay fresh indefinately? thanks in advance for any help. I noticed Wizard Labs isnt taking orders at this time. Is that a normal occurrence?

I freezed my bulk nic. but it just slowed down the oxidation process. Maybe a deep freezer would be better. I now order 60 mg instead of 100. Diluting would be a good idea for long term storage. I'm stock piling. Making pre mixed juice in bulk is a great idea as well. I store it in glass.

Ok thanks. So is there a particular vendor you prefer for your nicotine supply. Also, i placed an order with EssentialDepot for a gallon each of pg/vg. they were having a sale and got them for $40.25 combined and free shipping.

My first choice on nic is Wizard Ice. I ordered from Ecigexpress this week. Since Wizard Labs has closed for the time being.

I love these prices. Very good quality Specialty Bottle - Glass Bottles

like the boston rounds. they got what i think i'll need - some large ambers for long storage and smaller ones for current use. pricing looks really good. thanks

Hi john,
Some prefer the euro-caps for nic storage. Just giving a heads up before you order.

I've heard that before, what's the reasoning there?

Also it seems they only have 100ml bottles with the euro droppers, though I just did a quick scan maybe they're hiding :)

I was cleaning out some glass bottles preparing for the Vapepocalypse yesterday. I stumbled upon some 2 year old RTS VG 100 mg.
I opened the bottle, took a whiff. It smelled like the Gulf oil spill. I'm thinking of using this in my bug fogger at work. :D

Well, mine's in PG:p:ohmy::unsure:
In any case, its got to be better than cigs :toast:

Yeah. I was wondering where that taste went to, I guess it was when I was using MFS before I got a not-so great bottle and went elsewhere. Very light, natural tobacco background taste. Doubt it could be replicated synthetically.

My Extreme Vaping was like my OSDIYSHOP- absent of everything. Very good.

I've just started working on some non-ice WL, and it Seems like there's something in there, maybe it's that nic taste again- hope so.
