You know, of all the places I've been looking around lately, they are probably my best backup right now. Not an outlandish price, I seem to remember hearing it's pretty good nic, and I've had good experience ordering from them. Maybe I'll just grab a tiny bottle for now. I hope the new post office they are going through finally got their act together (packages were sitting for like a week in WA).

I am only now even trying flavor Without menthol, and its not working very well. The only thing that I like without the menthol is TPA Cheesecake Graham Crust. I can't find Everclear here either. But I do have 100 proof vodka that I use for cleaning. I never did try plain PG/VG yet, going to have too.....and vodka. Thanks wolcen

Pretty sure it's just the way I'm reading what you wrote, but just in case: I wouldn't vape straight vodka.

FWIW, I like to keep a little 10ml bottle of plain PG around - it's good because I almost always drip and sometimes don't want flavors to mix (often I do). Vaping a little PG in between clears out the taste of a lot of flavors.

PS: 1K posts right here. Perhaps insignificant, but I'd say my GF would disagree (since it's pretty good evidence I DO spend a little too much time here LOL)

PPS: Yes, pretty sure ECX is higher priced than RTS [but I think you know how I feel there]. Pretty sure their site is still down right now anyway.

Yeah I was going to say High Desert Vapes but even he is out of stock of Wizard's product right now. I got lucky on the shipping and got my order in 3 days a few weeks back from ECX.

Hiya Shilo! Yeah, I checked there again tonight too hoping John had restocked their supply. No dice. FWIW, I told them about Ice many months ago, so I'm still holding out hope we'll have somewhere to make an "official" Ice purchase (rather than making an order comment - regardless if that seems to work 98% of the time).

Judgement you might be the perfect person to ask for this then. When I get my nic, I am going to try and recreate one of the ICE juices from MBV. I do enjoy them a lot. Basically I think it is a mix of bluebery, koolada, and menthol. Now I see under other threads people suggest 10-15% on the blueberry. So if I were to mix this with menthol and Koolada, do I lower that number? And how much menthol/koolada do I use. I have heard a little bit goes a long way.

Or do I simply use, say that 10%, and then drop some menthol in? Thanks much!

Me, I would leave the flavor % alone and just add the menthol......and menthol is strong. You can buy the menthol in liquid and I did in a 120ml bottle. I did the cyrstals also but without the Everclear it doesn't mix well in vodka. The % of menthol , I would try .5% to start or drops which I don't normally use, but you may want to. I actually don't follow alot of the rules and normally make 100ml bottles and vape. If something is not right, I usually just add more menthol or mix the batches......even in the clearomizers.......so you may want to ignore anything I say

Almost every order I've received from ECX was quick. One seemed to have gotten delayed in the mail. I can't attribute that to ECX.

I don't have a lot of experience with ECX nicotine base. I have some in my freezer and have sampled a bit of it...no complaints. I think most nicotine prices are down from when I did my chart of cyrus' findings.

So - I've asked this elsewhere, but I'll try here again: has anyone that had RTS in the past noticed a difference in their nicotine since they announced a change to their refinement process? I watch their thread and read about it long enough ago that I would think plenty of people have had the new stuff by now. Just curious.

The time I spend on ECF is probably about 20% of the time I spend on my computer. The other 80%, I'm "working".

Well, i want to know if it [RTS] still has the TH, [if you remember from the pictures at the end of Nov] but its in the freezer. It was pale yellow in July. But the Rts and Wizard at the end of Nov were both crystal clear. And the RTS reorder during the xmas sale was also cyrstal clear.

Looks like it was longer ago then I thought at this point. This was on 11/17/2012:

...A good result from our bad batch is we have improved the quality of our nicotine by adding a 7th step to the extraction process. Our most recent batches of pure liquid nicotine have been crystal clear with zero odor when new. Our nicotine now has an ever so slightly improved throat hit. Strength has increased on average 0.04%. The lot numbers of our new improved nicotine start with an "X" in lieu of the usually "N". RTS Vapes liquid nicotine is now USP grade.

I recently picked up a 30mL bottle of 36mg/PG from onestopdiyshop. Price was a "little" high and their first-tier shipping starts at Priority, kinda spendy for just nic, but the shipping was fast (MN to IA) and I needed to restock a bunch flavors anyway.

Gets shipped in an amber glass bottle, black cap. Mine had tamper tape on the top cap, placed in a ziplock, and rolled at least twice in bubble wrap. Really similar to my WL experiences.

I'm not a nic connoisseur like many of the fine folks I've read on this thread, but I detected no off smell, weird throat hit, etc. Seems OK if you are in a pinch.

I used OSDIY nic for several mths and found it to be top tier nic. This was after several failures at other places.

It's a little expensive compared to nic wholesale places, but still way under my ciggie budget. They mostly offer it as part of their DIY set-up.

Fast? Yeah, they're known for that! Ships out here to PA in 2 mail days. It's like-" didn't I just get off the computer from ordering that, lol ".

When I wrote that monstrous series of posts (the "review") aside from little differences in appearance, non vaped odor, etc I essentially found ECX, WLI and XTR to all be well...the same

It took me a long time to notice that ECX def had a bit more of a 'nic taste' to it than WLI or XTR, nothing like the way I experience MFS though, for example. Also note that for some reason ECX (not the first batch, but the second two orders I got from them) seemed to yellow a bit faster than I wanted it too.

Problem is it was hot out and I was being silly with my storage, or lack thereof lol, so YMMV. Point is maybe it starts out pretty much as clean then just turns faster for some reason. It never picked up the offensive flavor that some nics get when they turn, however.

Anyway if you're happy with RTS I would *guess* that you'd be like a pig in mud with ECX. If you're unhappy with RTS you may still be happy with ECX depending on what it is you don't like about RTS.

Anyway I'm considering another bolus of ECX, but I can't decide if I want to do that or box elder...
