Can we please start a list of links to studies which shows a positive correlation between nicotine and health benefits?

I think a few positive references in the health and safety area should be a must :)

Maybe we can get people more interested in vaping if they know what good things can come, without the negatives of what tagged along with smoking!

Thanks.

I'm no Doc Brown, but I know it's a decent pain killer for us working class.

Yep, for me too, especially in terms of fundamental nerve pain I have from nerve damage from a nerve illness I had a number of years ago (Guillain-Barre Syndrome). Also either helps with concentration, or else alleviates the withdrawals that kill concentration...or both. There are also studies that show it helps reverse the effects of Alzheimers. Makes my brain smart and happy!

Irritable Bowel Disease........... nicotine stops the symptoms flat. Saw it on an episode of House.....lol Looked it up and it's true.

In relation to that, it also alleviates symptoms of Crohn's disease. Smoking too much, OTOH, can make Crohn's worse. Another example of nic helping the gut, but smoking negating that to a good extent.

Not in my experience.

Sorry to hear that. I quit analogs after 25+ years smoking. After 2 years nicotine free, I had all the symptoms of IBD.... (I won't mention them here......lol). Took all the scans, colonoscopies, genetic testing, etc. Yep, had IBD and never knew it. The smoking must have kept it in remission ever since I was a teen. After a year of trying every doctor's remedy there was... taking 6 pills a day ..... enemas.... etc. I saw an episode of House MD where he threw this guy a pack of cigarettes to help with his IBD.... Sure, I laughed for awhile and then went to the 'nets to look it up.

Next day, I started smoking analogs again. Within a week, all symptoms were gone!!!!! Never had another reoccurrence. Switched to vaping hoping it is the nic and not any of the other chemicals in tobacco blends that I need.

Will know in a year or so if I'm successful.
