This is strange, most people dont get a ''buzz" from vaping,no matter if they up the nic level, the tobacco buzz is different for the vaping buzz.

If I hit the 24 too much too fast I get something at least superficially similar to that delayed-smoke buzz. (The one you get after delaying a cig break much longer than usual.) Superficially cuz it doesn't come with the wobbly balance but otherwise it feels similar to me.

YMMV..

I vape all day when I can. I smoked a crap load up to 2-3 packs a day at points in my 22 years of smoking. I vape 24mg right now and do all day long. I know when I "need" a hit and have not touched it in awhile but sometimes like with smoking i sit here and just vape. I went form smokes to vape all at once. started vaping and did not touch a smoke at all.

Itsatushie, like u went from smoke to vape and didn't touch the smokes again. I wasn't a heavy smoker about 12 - 15 rollies a day but I loved em! I now vape @ nic levels between 6 and 12 and when I am sitting @ computer - just vape on. Thinking about it tho is more because I enjoy the flavour and the action, than 'gee, I must have a vape'. When I go out, I usually don't bother to take it with me and no probs but when I am sitting, relaxing love to vape. I go between 2 to 3 mls a day and cut down the strength in the evening. Works well for me. Cheers all and Vape On!

I used to smoke ~1/2 pack Marlboro reds a day. I've been vaping exclusively for 2 months now, pretty much a clean cut-over. I do ~2ml of 18mg a day, no sessions, puffing (and inhaling) as I feel like.

I don't know if mixing ecigs and analogs is a factor. I tried smoking analogs a couple of times just to see. I absolutely hated the taste and the smell from the first instant.

I've experienced mild withdrawal symptoms a few times -- agitation, impatience. But they either didn't last long or were not strong enough for me to tell the exact end.

I'm not sure what you meant by "hits" or "wired". If you just take 3-4 puffs of ecigs, that's hardly anything according to my experience. If I over-smoked analogs in the old days, I'd feel a bit sick in my stomach, that's all.

Personally I wouldn't worry about the claimed equivalency, or even nicotine concentration that much. Trust your body and follow it.

Hope this helps a little.

G'Day Kenny,
Hope this helps:
They have 4 different nicotine strenghts, ranging from 16mg to 0mg (nicotine-free):
•Full flavor: 16 mg
•Light: 12 mg
•Ultra Light: 8 mg
•Non-nicotine: 0 mg

By comparison, the average cigarette contains anywhere from .7 to 1.4 mg nicotine. Obviously you’re not supposed to smoke the entire cartridge in one sitting.
It is from: Articles | Electronic Cigarette Web

Certainly clarified questions for me!! The strengths are related to cartridges made by a company and my understanding is 1 ml of ELiquid contains the advertised level e.g. 18 mg fluid works out @ 18 mg per ml of liquid. I will usually vape between 2 and 3 mls a day of 6 - 12 mg and I used to smoke 'roll my own' tobacco 12 to 15 a day. I have had no probs going over to vaping and love the different flavours. Cheers,

As a follow-up thought this was interesting too:

However, according to Professor Thomas Eissenberg of Virginia Commonwealth University, impact of E cigarettes nicotine content on a person’s health is nearly about zero. He conducted a research on 16 smokers with the high level of nicotine (16mg) and found a small nicotine blood levels which was around 2ng/ml. However, it was around 17 to 20 ng/ml after smoking the real cigarettes. The electronic cigarettes do not affect your heart like the real cigarettes. In fact, these reduce the desire of smoking.

My first couple of days I had a buzz from the ecig on 18mg liquid, this after smoking 2 packs a day for 10 years. Different people will react differently. My best suggestion is to get some lower strength liquid if you want to puff more.

I have now got some 18mg, 12mg and 6mg.. 6mg for when I want to puff, 12mg for normal use..and 18mg for the odd and decreasing nicotine craving occurence. Go with what your body feels not anybody elses.

If you get a buzz/headache/heart fluttering or racing, you've vaped too much nicotine, either "cut" your eliquid with pure PG/VG to reduce the nic content or buy some lower mg liquid!
