Should I be concerned about nicotine quality? I want to start getting into DIY and have no idea where to get my nicotine from. I can get low doses of naked 25MG nicotine in VG from a cignot brick and mortar store near my house but wanted to get a higher concentration. Making small batches with this low of a nicotine mg doesn't yeild anything worth using from a nicotine mg perspective. Anyway, can someone recommend a place to get some high quality nico?

I am no expert by far but I use nic from myfreedomsmoke and they are highly rated by many people on here. You can get it in pretty much any size and any mg up to 100mg, however be very very careful when handling the higher nic . Please use all precautions and keep it stored away from kids and pets, or better yet, break it down and dilute as soon as you get it.
They are constantly running specials and you can get some great deals on high quality nic there.

Since you asked about Nicotine Quality, the answer is yes. Quality is generally perceived as Purity, and that can be a result of not only the original purity, but the handling and packaging practices of the supply chain, and your practices mixing.
Quality of the other ingredients matter also.
In a typical DIY mix you could end up with 1 to 3% nicotine, 5 to 15% flavor, and the remainder a blend of VG and/or PG.
Percentage wise, which ingredients are the highest?

"Low doses of 25MG nicotine", and "have no idea where to get my nicotine from" indicate you are a little unfamiliar with the basic requirements of DIY. I don't think you are ready to buy 100mg/ml nic just yet.
100mg/ml is a BAD RECOMMENDATON to start out with.

DIY is fun and can save you money, but only if you learn to do it correctly.

nuggetz,
What strength and quantities where you planning on mixing up?

I'm just looking to mix 24mg samples as I develop a flavor. Small quantities at first. I don't think I need 100mg. Maybe somewhere in the middle will work for me. Just because I asked for suggestions on where to get good quality nic doesn't mean I am not ready to mix.

Correct it doesn't mean your not ready to mix, however only vaping for a month or two and being new to using Nic and mixing, I think 100mg isnt what you need, a good 36mg will do you just fine, stick with some of the better suppliers and get some good clear Nic, Levy from Extreme is an excellent supplier, as is RTS & MFS one of these 3 would be a great place to start. Also downloading a E-juice me up or Easy E Juice calculator would be a great idea too, and reading a lot in the DIY threads would also be a good idea. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to mix 3-6 different chemicals/flavorings/additives but knowledge and practice does take some time to achieve making a really good juice, so educate yourself as much as possible and start off with small batches 6ml's or less. you can also make up batches without the Nic and try it first, then if you like what you taste you can add your Nic so you don't waste Nic. just a few thoughts that come to mind, good luck at your new venture nuggetz
