Hi everyone, I have a question I'm hoping someone can answer. I have a 2 year old granddaughter and I am wondering if the nicotine that I'm vaping can be released in the vapor. I wouldn't want to do anything to harm her, but it is nice to be able to vape in my house without having to go outside like I did when I smoked analogs and she was there. I appreciate any comments or thoughts anyone has. I love vaping. I have weaned my self down from 2 packs aday analog to about two packs a week in a monthes time. I have been totally anolog free for a week.

Did you know that your G-daughter ingested nicotine from that first bottle of Gerber's she ate?
Nicotine is a natural substance in almost all plants. Tobacco just has more of it than other plants.

Also did you know that PG is used in the vent systems of even hospitals to reduce viruses and bacteria in the air. So vaping is almost like using one of those hand sanitizing gels every time you blow vapor into the air.

If this is true this would explain A LOT. Even before smoking I would bed sick monthly/bimonthly with strep throat, bronchitis, pneumonia, or any other nasty sickness that goes around during the winter but at any time of the year. Since I've started vaping which has been a year and a half I've only gotten seriously sick once. Maybe it's not the PG but rather me sharing cigarettes with other people, who knows.

    Just an FYI:

Not completely sure about the extent of nicotine in various plants; but what I've seen stated is that it's in the nightshade family of plants; tomatoes, eggplant, etc. And the levels in these plants is extremely low.

Check out CASAA.org. They have links to much of the research done on e-cigs. It's my understanding that very little if any nicotine is in the exhaled vapor.

I personally have 3 little ones at home and since I quit analogs (even though I smoked outside) my kids have even been healthier and I do vape in the house.
With the ingredients that are in the juice that we use there really is nothing that is going to harm children, unless they get ahold of the bottle and ingest this.
I would not worry about the vapor that we exhale.
    Be well
