this question has come up in diferent forms from what ive seen but i havent seen the answer im looking for.

if an analog cigarett has lets say 1.0 -1.5mg of nicotine per cigerette (i know some have more or less) how does that compare to the juice?

i understand what people say to get depending on your regular smoking habbits but... if i get a 18mg version of the juice what does that mean exactly? its not the total nicotine by volume or it would change by the size ie. 10ml 30ml 80ml etc. will all be different.

does an 18mg nicotine bottle give me 18mg per drag? or is it suppose to be 18mg per 10 drags? since everyone has dfferent methods of using the PV it seems that it would be very different for each user.

anyone know for sure?

Your talking 2 different measurments one is volume= the cigarette the other is strength= the liquid.

not exactly. im asking about the two compared to each other. an analog ( the ones i smoke) have .8mg or nicotine per cigarette.. the juice ( one of many) is 18mg nicotine. same measurement. the question is 18mg per what?

Liquid is sold at mg per ml. So '18' is indicating 18mg of nicotine per milliliter of liquid.

Keep in mind though that these numbers don't at all describe how much nicotine you're actually getting into your bloodstream. There is a big debate over this on a forum thread, here is the link:

The bottom line is that there's a good chance that only a small fraction of the nicotine is actually entering into the bloodstream.

Hope this helps!

All I know is, I was a pretty heavy smoker of analogs. I loved smoking so much and so often I had to switch to ultra lights so my chest could take it.

My started kit came with 16mg prefilled carts. I smoked em' like I would a cig (same amount of drags in same amount of time) and I got a buzz! Something I haven't felt in a long time being a 10+ year smoker!

So, something is getting into that bloodstream! It was that typical nicotine buzz. Racing heart, little lightheaded, numbing skin, etc. Reminded me of the first time I used "dip", ugh!
