You're welcome! There are more of us, too, that have had the same thing happen. One member in particular, @Mrmik, was doing the same type of experiment with his nic mg. The last time I saw him post about it...he'd lost a good amount of the weight he'd gained. In August, he said he'd know within 6 months if it had definitely been his lack of enough nic (compared to what he got when smoking) that caused his weight gain. He's the one who suggested I might want to try adjusting my nic mg, too, to see if it made any difference for me, too.
Ah, nice thread this is.......
In late fall of 2015 I started wean down on nic level and was nic free into 2016. My body did not crave it at all and I enjoyed vaping at zero nic for a few months. In the summer of 2016, I realized I went up in weight and was about 15-20 lbs above my ideal weight, that, in just a few months. My lifestyle and eating habits were just the same so I did some research and found nicotine is a stimulant. After the bloodwork from the yearly physical exam (late summer 2016) there were nothing changed. Went back adding nic to my DIY 3mg vaping about 10-12ml/day.
It has been about 4 months since then and my weight is about 8 lbs above the ideal weight I had.
I am positive that having zero nic was the culprit to my weight gain and will know for sure in the months to come.
