Picked up some zero nic juice yesterday. I found that lately, while putzing around on the computer before going to bed, I was vaping like a madman... and it was causing me to have crazy nightmares. Restricted myself to the zero nic juice before bed last night and slept much better. One time a while back, I had quit smoking with the patch and fell asleep one night with it on... yikes! I still vividly remember the nightmares... didn't do that again. Nicotine and my sleeping do not mix well!

For the first few months I had really vivid dream including what some would call nightmares. That effect, sadly, faded away over time. I say sadly because I actually enjoyed the vivid dreams, even the ones most would consider nightmares. I have the ability to tell myself it is a dream even in the scariest dreams and with that knowledge I enjoy them just like I enjoy horror movies.

i thought i was the only other sick person like this. i say sick as watching horror films ( my favorite genre) i tend to laugh and get pumped up at times. Like in Contagion when the body just fell from the upper story of the stairwell to hit the floor. i was laughing so hard and the wife looks at me with the 'i married you face' and says "you're a sick f&*^!" ah good times.

I'm the opposite. Nicotine helps me sleep. (Although cigarettes caused me to wake up through the night to smoke.)
I haven't had a problem with lucid dreaming.

(ETA) And when I was on Wellbutrin I definitely didn't have a problem with dreaming because I simply couldn't sleep. Waking hallucinations after not sleeping is a different story. (/edit)

I like the vivid dreams as well, and yes, I think most would call them nightmares. I had them with chantix, which was the only reason I liked chantix - for me it was the chantix causing the dreams, not nic withdrawal, because I was on chantix for 6 months and had them the whole time. Now I have them with vaping, but they're not quite as intense.

it's been almost two months of vaping exclusively, and have been having extremely vivid dreams and nightmares since. i just mentioned the vivid dreams/nightmares to my g/f yesterday, so i find this thread very timely and interesting...

It's not timely, it's just one of your vivid dreams. Now wake up or you'll be late for work.

I had a reallllly vivid dream last night of just my daily life, but everything was going great! it was awesome..even when I woke up to go to them bathroom..i fell back asleep and right into another vivid dreams..i did that about 3 times before I totally woke up. Was the first time in a while I woke up after 9 lol!
