linking in... I should have known we'd be seeing extreme vapor cloud performances on youtube by now.... even if you're not in it for nicotene delivery. It is fun as hell.

I don't know squat about electronics, but I put my Provari V2 on the shelf (with the HH357s) a couple weeks ago (E1, E2, E8 up the ying yang) for my 2 iHybrid Standards, and a Poldiac BTO w/Cobra at .9 Ohms, 28g A1 Kanthal.... incredible...

I started out with my Provari and the Cobra, and I couldn't get any SLR going for more than a half-toot once in a while, with 30g....

Its all about the mechanical devices now.

I agree. it IS all about the mech mods. i got the natural by smok. i really want to get something nicer like a poldiac or GG but theyre so expensive and hard to come by.. ill just get the chinese gg. the mod that i really want is the Excalibur mod. i just love the way it looks plus its telescopic.. my next mech mod has to be telescopic. as a SLR vaper im beginning to wonder if ill ever desire a vv/vw mod at all... glad i havnt splashed on a provari haha.

I think quite a few, like me, had "missed the boat"... when Geni's first came around we picked them up i.e. Line, GLV from europe, about a year ago, fiddled, and either loved DIY or like me said, nah not worth it, and knowing nothing about sub 1.0 Ohms ...
When that came around, I thought it was ridiculous and would just burn the juice and coil etc .
What i missed was that if the wick is wicking the juice good enough, its not going to burn... i don' t know how that works with silica but it does fine on SS mesh. You get the best flavor anywhere too.

Conventional atomizers are sub par in the flavor dept imo... and SLR vaping on geni mods is better than an HH357 and hybrid (510/306) atomizers too.
Some vets like me (up to a month ago) did not and still dont know crap about it. THey think back to when they raised the voltage on a SR atty or carto and it tasted like crap...

well the expensive ones are really really good workmanship...
some have too many sleeves ie my Poldiac has 18350 18500 and 18650... I'm not gonna use it SLR with anything less than a 18650.
But its the hardest hitting of all the mechanicals so far...
If they weren't worth it (considering they're not mass produced in China) it wouldn't be so dang hard to get one... i got lucky on the classies and paid what it was sold for.
Once you get turned on to SLR Geni's nothing else compares.

I agree with your assessment of the Poldiac... Not only is it built with top notch materials, but the design is really ingenious. I haven't seen another button design that's anywhere close to the Poldiac. It's an innovative design, and you're paying for that engineering and R&D, not so much for the materials and labor...

yeah, but i didn't mean just the Poldiac... all the Hybrids and mechanical mods for Geni's are expensive and generally very gooooood.
NO worries with 28g and IMR batts... sub 1.0 with good mesh wicking kicks.
I'm sure i said it before- 28g wire is almost fool proof...

I think im going to get the Avenger by Edz Mods. If all goes well ill have it tomorrow night =]
Ill be paying 200 for it.. you think its worth it?

I hesitated to say this but... you could get a new digital multi-meter maybe? There are some reliable ones that don't cost very much.
