Big numbers on the wrap 40a ~ 30a, little numbers on the wrap 25a ~ 20a max continuous discharge.
'Re wrap' falsely (at least misleadingly) rated & labeled cells.
I wouldn't believe even the small numbers until they've been Mooched.

Nitecore should know better. After all, there are in the charger business. Mooch will get around to testing them if he hasn't already.

The 2600 mAh one has a 'claimed' higher amp limit than the 2100 mAh one, what a joke.
I'm guessing they will both be filled with cold custard and emit loud farting noises when prodded with a stick.

I've pretty much settled on Sony, LG, and Samsung as my target buys for batteries. I bounce back and forth between RTDVapor.com and IMRBatteries.com.
I charge NiMH AAA batteries for my guitar wireless beltpack transmitter. It's interesting to me that my Nitecore I4 heats up those AAA's quite a bit. My Xtar VC4 leaves them barely warm. I like barely warm much better than hot. It seems that the VC4 also charges them faster, but I haven't done a stopwatch test.

Interesting! I missed the IMRbattery logo in the add. All the yellow ink probably made my eyes lock on the batteries...
The fix is to consult Mooch tests before clicking "Add to Cart".

I own one Nitecore product, an MH2C flashlight. I bought it because it has built-in USB charging and I thought it would make a good back-up charger when I'm traveling in case my normal charger should fail. Unfortunately, the charge rate is hideously slow, nowhere near the 500 mA that should be safe to pull from USB.
I really dig my Efest chargers, 2 and 4 bay. I stay away from their batteries though.I like Xtar, thanks.

My favorite charger is the Efest Luc 4. That's because it can charge four 18650s at 1A simultaneously.
I'm also impressed by the graphics and charging info that my Xtar VC4 produces. It's too bad they couldn't build it to charge 4 at once at more than .5A. The Xtar wall wart supplies only 2A, so there must be a reason for not taking it up to 4A plus.
