Nitecore chargers no good?

Andria, please don't put a AAA or a AA in the LUC charger. The AA/AAA have an output of 1.25 volts. It's not designed to charge NiMh or NiCd batteries. The cut off voltage is too high. The Nitecore chargers will recognize that you put in a AA or AAA battery and drop the cut off to the proper voltage.

I had no intention of it; I don't buy rechargeables in that size anyway, as the regular alkalines are so cheap (at Home Depot!).

I have a Nitecore Intellicharger i4; my daughter uses an i2. Never had an issue with them.

I've also used a Pila and Xtar chargers. Only trouble I've ever had with a charger was with an Xtar, whose wiring was mistakingly reversed at the factory and was replaced by the vendor.
