I've been vaping my NLV 'vanilla enhanced' Bounty Hunter for over an hour now, this is The Ticket for me, this is Bounty Hunter with a multiplier attached.

It's like with the regular, I can definitely taste the vanilla, but I have to hunt for it a little, now the vanilla (it's the same flavor exactly) is loud and proud in the mix.

I LOVE this juice! :headbang:

I'm starting to wonder if I added some chocolate whether I could come up with a Boston Creme Pie kinda thing...

And... I just ordered some 100VG Chocolate from Vapor4Life this afternoon, we shall see...

The next time you place an order from NLV, order one of the small vanilla samplers and mix up a little 3ml bottle of vanilla and BH for yourself, you'll be happy you did!

I believe you, and I hope you knew that my post was meant in a friendly way. To me, Bounty Hunter is already one of the most vanilla-rich tobacco juices I've ever vaped. Who else would've thought of kicking up the vanilla even another notch and pushing it right out front, to make "BH version 2"---the Ultra-Vanilla-Rich Bounty Hunter! And now you want to make "Bounty Creme Pie." There's no stopping you, LOL.

I just got a big order from NLV, but I already have a whole bunch of vanilla juices and flavoring concentrates in my stash, so I might try some mad scientist experiments of my own. Won't be quite the same as yours, of course, because I probably don't have exactly the same vanilla that NLV uses for Strait Vanilla and Bounty Hunter, but it'll be fun anyway.

You are absolutely correct, I'm vaping Gold Rush right now so I can get a better perspective on NLV juices in general and Bounty Hunter in particular and how it 'fits' in the NLV stable of flavors.
I actually do prefer the vanilla enriched Hunter, but I see no need to try and alter any of their other juices to replicate it either, that flavor is now well covered.

Now this is what I call an awesome coffee vape. Nice and smooth without any burnt coffee tastes. I'm in love with it. Just the perfect blend of flavors.
This will be interesting, I got a free sample of this (Caparillo) with my order.
I like really bold (good) straight coffees, and I found your comment immensely interesting because I bought a bottle of (AVE) Christy's Cappuchino and I didn't like it at all, and it DID have a burnt taste to it, ...I thought it was just me and the fact that maybe I just don't care for Cappuccino vapes since I rarely see any negative reviews of AVE juices.
Nice to have something to compare it to now.

So far, Gold Rush just strikes me as a straight-up-the-middle tobacco juice with very little other flavors in it, but a pleasant tobacco vape all the same.
Nothing standout, but nothing negative either, right up the middle perfectly acceptable tobacco juice.
Actually, the juice that most replicates a real analog for me compared to all my other juices, this is pretty realistic for me, but I'm now kinda spoiled with all the flavors at my disposal.

If I was gifting a PV to someone for their first vape and trying to win them over, I would start with this juice.

Wow, I'm very surprised, the Caparillo is a much more pleasant vape than the Christy's Cappuccino I got from AVE (IMO).

None of the overstrong burnt taste, and a very pleasant juice to vape.
Too bad it's 24mg, double what I usually vape, but it was a freebie, I'm not complaining.

Whatever base NLV uses is very agreeable to me, I've liked everything I've had from them so far.

EDITED to add:

I took the NLV Caparillo and my Christys and threw them together, the CC was a low nic so that helped bring the Caparillo in line, and the flavor of the Caparillo helped tame the burnt taste of CC.

I then added two nut flavors I got from Gourmet Vapor, a few drops of Pistachio Wonders and a few drops of Walnut Caramel Coffee, then added 3 drops of Vanilla Bean (Vixen Vapors) to top it off.

Super Good cappuccino vape juice now, Love it love it love it.

The 'smokiness' of the cappuchino flavor really plays well in the sandbox with the nutty elements.
Another tasty vape!

Nlv is a great vendor and the juices are great. Bounty hunter was a wonderfully sweet surprise. Sundance too. I haven't even tried the renegade yet because im still stuck on the other two. I tried ordering a blue drip tip but for some reason I couldn't. I told them to let me know when it was back in stock but when I received my order it was in there free Of charge. I had also asked a question about the all vg bountyhunter and they threw in a 30ml bottle for free. Who does that? That is so awesome. Iloved them before I even vaped any of it. I wish I would have tried them all. I will order my next order there again. I really wish I had tried all their flavors. They are great (regardless of their low prices) even if your not a tobacco person I guarantee you will like the interesting vanilla tones of those two flavors. Bounty hunter is only similar to BB by color in my opinion. Tastes great smells great and better TH than BB. not better but in its own right a high quality flavor in the same "class."

Side note: im in oregon visiting the fam and my brother converted from analogs to vaping. He is now already making crazy orders too and my sis is trying to get on board cuz she really likes being able to do it inside.she's such a picky eater its difficult lol she doesn't like coffee or fruits or desserts but I think if they made a flaming hot cheetos flavor she would be hooked lol she likes cotton candy and red hots so far so hooray! Thanks ecf and members for all your help!

I emailed the seller about the mg strength and they are going to try for lower mg in this. I love the Caparillo, but like you, I have to use it sparingly.

Last by not least, another review.

This is running on a Prodigy V3.1 at 3.7V loaded in 1.6ohm dual coil cartomizers. Switched to regular resistance Boge on the Prodigy, then regular resistance Boge on my Buzz. Hubby uses regular resistance Boge on a ProVari.

Renegade RY4 - 65pg/35vg - 16mg - According to the description on the website, I'm at a loss on this one. Website states, "a smooth flavor of toasted/roasted nuts with soft tones of caramel and vanilla blended in a sweet tobacco flavor." I'm going to break down the description. Smooth flavor: yes. Toasted/roasted nuts: can't taste it. Caramel: faint but there. Vanilla: yes but very, very mild. Sweet tobacco flavor: definitely sweet. Put all of this together and I get a very mild, almost bland, flavor. Actually it completely stunned me because I was expecting a bolder flavored juice. I get mostly sweet out of it but not much else. I decided to give it a try on a regular resistance Boge cartomizer on my Prodigy....still nothing. Put the carto on my Buzz and started playing with voltages hoping I could hit a sweet spot with it where the flavor was improved. Nothing. This was a disappointment as I really like the majority of their flavors because the flavor stands out but not this one. I've been solely vaping this for almost 6 hours and nothing is changing and I'm constantly turning voltages up and down. Hubby is having the same problem with the taste...does absolutely nothing for him. All he can taste is the sweetness. This is one I won't buy again....sorry NVL.

My suggestion to someone is if you don't like an "in your face" strong flavor, get this one. I only get hints of the flavors but I'm straining my taste buds to achieve that.

Vapor - 5 (does produce clouds)
TH - 3 (only over 4.5V...I didn't get much of one, if any, under that)
Flavor - 1 (severly lacking and a disappointment to us both as we like bolder flavors but recommend it to people that like very light flavors)

Well, that sums up all the flavors that I have bought from them. For the most part, they are all good for the exception of this one but as they say, "Taste is subjective."

In closing, if you are thinking of getting this one, please do so. This review is just mine and my husband's opinions and nothing more.

I loaded the already filled Boge carto into a vaporescence tank and added what I had left of the vanilla. It blended it out nicely. So if you get Renegade RY4 and don't like it, add some vanilla to it. It made a very sweet vanilla topped RY4. Hubby even took my tank from me...LOL...I need to stop letting him try my concoctions as I keep losing my stuff....darn me!

Have a happy and safe 4th and if you go out, please stay safe and don't drip and drive...or drink and drive.

hairball,

What a terrific review! By that I mean you gave your opinion---in this case not so positive---but deftly avoided the built-in trap of all juice reviews (namely, leaving the impression that someone else would/wouldn't like it and therefore should/shouldn't buy it...). Bravo.

For what it's worth, I have a very similar subjective reaction to Renegade RY4 as yours. While I love Bounty Hunter, Renegade seems to me in desperate need of a stronger injection of caramel and vanilla. I hope the juice masters at NLV take notice and fix it (if only for you and me), since Renegade could be yummy with a little sprucing up. As they say in cooking, "Correct the seasonings before serving."

bill I just can't get into this taste. I finally broke down and dripped some which I rarely do these days in an attempt to see if the cartos were causing the muted taste. Nope...same tasteless juice. I finally took the cartos I was using and dripped NVL Vanilla into them and now I can finally taste...well...the vanilla.

Thank you for the positive comments. I love "in your face" flavor but still can't believe that this one lacks that as NVL usually produces really good juices. I think if you wanted a good mixer, or just something with a hint of flavor, this is the juice to get. The vapor production is great, TH lacking under 4.5V and flavor....ummmm....just not there for me or hubby.

I'm finding I can take almost any tobacco-based juice and swing it to whatever makes me happy by having a number of base flavors here to play with as additives.
Vanilla
Several different nuts
Several different coffees
Caramel
Cherry
Etc., the list goes on.

Neither of the NLV tobaccos were thrilling me, here's what I did with them.
The names are listed strength-wise, so I vape a carto of it and if it needs a tiny adjustment, I add it in before the next carto load.

The Gold Rush which I also found mundane, after these additions I now love it.
Haven't spent any real time with the Renegade mix yet, but will tomorrow probably.
This is a great way to make a winner out of almost any tobacco juice, no matter how so-so it is to start with.
I'm sitting here vaping away on the Gold Rush and loving it, super tasty to me now.

The additions overall are pretty small.
I would imagine a 10ml must have at least a hundred drops in it, probably more.
My additions are usually on the level of, say 10 drops nut, 8 drops vanilla, no more than 2-3 drops clove or menthol, they're pretty small touches.
I can always add more if needed to bump up any particular flavor.

I like GoldRush like it is so it goes to show everyone has different tastes.

However, I added some of NVL Vanilla (I'm not a fan of vanilla from any vendor) to the Renegade and it brought my carto to life and toned the vanilla down to make it enjoyable also. Still I won't buy the Renegade again but probably will the vanilla for hubby.

I smoked Camel's on and off. I couldn't find a juice that even came close other than this one. I think you will be happy with it. It's not spot-on but comes very close.

Got my order from NLV Friday afternoon and I've vaped through about half the 10ml bottle of Goldrush! Very analog taste to it. Definitely going back for more of this one.

Hmmm... I got a very heavy caramel flavor with Renegade RY-4. Almost sticky caramel that really lingered. Taste buds are funny things. Everyone's different!

I'm letting most of these steep a bit for now ('cept the Goldrush, can't put it down). Here's my initial impressions for comparison/confirmation. I'll do a proper review on some of them eventually:

Bounty Hunter - Nice, even tobacco flavor with an infusion of sweet vanilla. Tried it on the VGo and a VK 901 standard atomizer (I haven't checked its resistance lately, but should be about 2.8). Massive clouds of vapor. Solid and quite enjoyable TH. There's a complexity to the flavors that clearly needs a little steep time, so we'll be back to this one. Some folks have been trying to compare or draw correlations between Bounty Hunter and Bobba's Bounty from AVE, but I don't taste it. Two VERY different juices. And Bounty Hunter is better in my book. We'll give it some time, but I think this one is going to have a very wide appeal.

Goldrush - Since I started vaping I haven't had many (if any) moments where I really wanted a cigarette for the sake of having a cigarette. I do, however, miss the flavor sometimes. Well, this is the closest thing I've had yet. It's just sweet tobacco flavor, like you might find anywhere, but there's a blend to the tobacco flavorings that is completely reminiscent of smoking a good cig. This is NLV's "Camel Cigarette" flavor, and while it does come close, it's not exact. But it doesn't need to be. If you want a smoke, this is the juice. It's a fine tasting vape. This is one I can easily see becoming a regular on my juice shelf. Did this one on a Boge LR 510 carto on the VV box. It's great at 3.7V, but took off like a rocket as I went past 4V.

Renegade RY-4 - I love that this has the strong taste of caramel. Too many RY-4s lately have been backing off that sticky caramel taste that just belongs in this kind of juice. The tobacco flavor is very light fresh out of the mail, though. It's fairly obvious it's going to come up as it steeps, so we'll have to come back to this one. Even not fully cooked, though, this is one of the better RY-4's I've had in awhile. Trying this one on a 2.8 Ohm CE2 r4 carto and blasting off from the VGo at 4.0V on the nose (I've been using it all day).

U.S. Marshall - I'll pass on a true first impression on this one because the bottle I got has a really strong menthol taste too it. I wrote to NLV and got a nice email from Gene about the juice. It does have a touch of menthol in it to "mellow it out" but apparently not enough that I should have noticed it. So, we'll let this one steep before we give it a proper shot and see how it does in a couple of weeks. The flavor I can taste under the menthol is definitely something I'm looking forward to.

I haven't tried the Vanilla Strait yet because it smells like birthday cake and I don't care for those... but I'll probably be nicely surprised if these juices are any indication.

Well, I "doctored" Renegade. Squeezed 1.5ml into a 3ml bottle, then added some drops of two flavoring concentrates: Creamy Vanilla by Lorann, and New Caramel by Flavor Apprentice (same as Perfumer's Apprentice).

All I succeeded in doing was to ruin the juice. Total fail. Downright unvapeable. I added too much flavoring, obviously, which is one of the dumb mistakes I frequently make in DIYing. When will I learn? If a little flavoring is good, more is not necessarily better.

Oh well, only about 65¢ down the tubes. Now it gets dumped into my big 100ml bottle of dreadful concoctions with all my other toxic disasters. (Sigh.)

I didn't hardly get caramel flavor. I really only got a hint of vanilla and no nutty flavor....I wonder if mine was a boo-boo. Well, I may get a small bottle later on and see but my big bottle is going to a new home and I hope he lets me know if it tastes the same as what he already has.

Even my neighbor, who I had try it, couldn't get any flavor out of it. Her impression was even worse than ours. She asked me if i made her a sugar vape.:blink:I asked her if she could taste anything at all and she said yes...sugar. I told her what it was and she couldn't believe it either. So like I said, I'm wondering if mine wasn't a goof.
