[March 31st, 2009]
njoy Vice President Jim Palasota announced today that njoy will be ceasing production and sales on all njoy products starting April 5th, 2009. Jim Palasota was unavailable to comment, but we did get in touch with Michael Nielson, V.P. of Operations at Njoy. Michael was able to clear up a few questions about Njoy's sudden decision with his following statement - "We are currently undergoing a transition within our company. Our Marketing and Sales departments will be going through some changes in order to adjust to the evolving market of Electronic Cigarettes. I do not have an accurate time frame at the moment, but we are looking at 6 to 8 months." When asked if the companies decision was at all related to the FDA, Michael responded - "We are having some issues with the FDA at the moment, and this is partly due to our decision to cease sales and production".

That was just one segment of their article. This is just ridiculous. Njoy is probably the biggest e-cig store in North America. Things are not looking so great for us e-smokers.
