Seems like a good emergency backup if the day ever comes. Are they available in gas stations or places like that?
The one place that always has them is 7/11, in my area. I tried using them full time, they're too spotty in performance and life to use full time. Some lasted a good amount of time, others died right away. I switched to Blu (before I discovered real vaping) because of their inconsistency. They're not cheap, either.

In fact, while writing this, I remembered I have two in my junk drawer, so I just went and got them. The menthol is weak on vapor and flavor, but it would do in a pinch if I had nothing else. The bold is the same. Very little vapor, weak flavor. Not as good as I remember. I'm actually surprised both are working, I bought them (I think) in June/July.

I think they may go live in the glovebox of my car, now. :)

Edited to add: I found my Blu box, too. It works, I haven't touched it since September. Impressive battery. Better vapor than the njoy, which surprised me. I think it's probably because I know how to draw on them better now. Flavor? Hazelnut. (it's the tobacco strong carts). Still, have to draw too hard and too long, it's annoying. I'll stick to cartos. :) I may have to take one of the carts for it and try refilling it with some Halo, see how it works...

I used them a over a year ago when I was bouncing back and forth with vaping. I moved on to Blu which performed "slightly" better but tasted WAY worse. I still have a NJoy Menthol King in the truck that is over a year old. I used it a week or so ago on the way to work because I forgot to fill the PT2 before leaving home. It still worked.... I tried it day before yesterday and I think I must have killed the aged battery the other morning. It does not work now.
If it actually had any life to it I would probably use them for out and about. It does give you the "Cig" feeling.

If you are curious you can get one for free.

Tried the menthol bold. They were mailing out free samples. Don't know if they still are or not.

IMHO it tasted EXATLY as if I were smoking a Newport which was fan freaking tastic, but the battery lasted me like an hour.... No way in hell I'd shell out $9 for these.

I wish they'd sell their liquids tho. They are easily the closest to tasting like a real CIG I've had. Would be a great starting liquid to ween newcomers off cigs.

Saw the new NJOY 5 pack today at a gas station convenience store today, the clerk said he couldn't keep the display stocked fast enough ...

$29.95 for the pack, so about $6.35 each (with CA sales tax). Still too pricey for me, now that I'm over the initial vaping hardware buying frenzy ...

Who knows, the 5 pack might even last a whole day ...

Ok here is my experience with them. I happen to know someone on the inside of that company so I got them for free in exchange for honest opinions right before they would come out on the market. This was last year that I was getting the freebies, so some of this maybe old news and there might have been substantial improvements since then. I know that my friend was saying that they were always working on a new product.

I remember mostly puffing off the NJoy OneJoy singles. I tried the Menthol, the Regular and the Light variety. I also tried the Kings. I didn't come across the Menthol Bold so I can't comment on that. I really enjoyed the Menthol since that has always been my flavor of choice. As far as taste, they are great, better than any other disposable e-cig I have tried. Even the regular and light aren't bad.

The battery was a problem periodically, and I let them know my experience with them being sporadic at times. I was told that is something the company was working on with their manufacturers. One thing that I found was critical for saving battery life with the NJoys was if the battery gets hot, you have to stop vaping off of it or it will kill the battery fast. Once I figured that out, I always kept 2 or 3 on me so I could switch out between them and they wouldn't die fast. That extended their life until some of them ran out of liquid.

I used these for about 2 months exclusively and was able to stay off analogs for 2.5 months after that with no e-cigs at all. I didn't titrate my dosage of nicotine with the NJoy's, I just didn't think about it. I just naturally cut back.

After having said that, as a disposable I would use them again, despite the battery issue and the cost. I just wouldn't use them everyday because of the cost vs using PV's. Now if NJoy came out with their own line of e-liquids and a cartomizer/clearomizer etc, I would switch in a heartbeat. They have those down pat. I would just look elsewhere for a battery for now.

My 2 cents.

Roly posted a bit about this

Also a post regarding this in the info section.

Caridwen, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the helpful links you've posted. I think I get involved in reading and forget I'm not alone in some big, empty library. Then later I feel guilty that I didn't let someone know I benefited from his/her efforts. I do appreciate your ability to pull links out of the air, so to speak. Thank you very much.

I tried them a couple of times for places I couldn't smoke before I quit. They weren't bad. The one thing I will say is they say equivalent to 2 packs, that's not my experience at all. I saw them one day and thought well if these equal 2 packs then these will be cheaper than buying 2 packs. They definitely didn't last that long though. The local gas station just a few blocks from my house sells them so if I'm ever in a bind it will be better than buying a pack of smokes.

I got a free bold that's 4.5% from a promotion, it didn't even hit has hard as my 18mg in my mech with a boge LR, in fact it was so weak, I ended up using my eroll with 24mg for the rest of the day. IMO size and weight are very nice, hit is garbage, tastes like an ashtray, no throat hit even on bold for me, and weak vapor

I'm pretty sure they are using the nicotine to compensate for the poor battery and still give a decent throat hit ... HTH

I vape 32mg daily and I'm comfortable using up to 36mg with >70% PG ratio, so I'm really used to high nic throat hit. The Njoy king's throat hit at 4.5% doesn't feel as strong as 32mg, and I've got some 24mg juice that kicks more than the king. Maybe the liquid has more VG than PG, but I found it pretty light but overall satisfactory.
