Reposted here , don't know if I posted the other one in the wrong place so here it goes, Moderators Please remove if incorrect.

wanna start by Saying that this review is Meant to Help people that are looking to try finding a juice they might like and to guide them in making their vaping more pleasurable, I know how much they helped me in my first couple of weeks of vaping and I was looking at getting different juices. I'M IN NO WAY A SCIENTIST , MIXOLOGIST, CHEMIST, nor the words of wisdom in this forum, this is barely a review or my opinion if you wish.

with that out of the way , I will say that I have not found many vendors that can replicate what I have found @ NLV. Reason why I say this is because in these four months I have spent well over $2000 in vaping and of those $1000 where liquid related, BWB,Halo,FSUSA,Pink spot, Copper Creek, Johnson creek, Vermillion River, Vapor talk, Mad vapes, Alien Visions, Quicnic, ECBLEND and a bunch more, Not criticizing other vendors, out of all those NLV has in my view the best customer service and Pricing for their products.

Their juice price is as follows
10ml - $3.50
30ml - $10.00
130Ml - $40.00

compared to some of the above mentioned Vendors of $20 and up for 30ML , in other words you can try 3 10ML flavors for $15.50 SHIPPED Priority mail. Why customer service is the best ? because I have sent a lot other companies emails regarding popular juices and Nobody has given me the respect and time that Gene has , letting me know he had some bounty hunter left over if I still wanted some, Constant personal contact like if Gene knew who was on the other side of the computer.

Anyways this is a Juice review, so let me get to it.

Sundance V2
I bought this flavor in february , I think what defines this flavor is the aftertaste or exhale if you wish, like all NLV flavors they have excellent TH for a 65PG/35VG mix, and vapor as well, but when you exhale that kick of fruits( orange for me ) is what defines this liquid. it is Like Bounty hunter, that cake batter taste but with a Orange exhale to it .IF you are looking for a Liquid that is sweet but not caramel sweet, more vanilla sweet with a Citrus kick this is It. I'm steeping my bottle right now because I'm enjoying my BH and Renegade a lot more at this moment but every week I drop a ML into the atty and it is refreshing. Like most NLV juices this juice is Orange Colored and because of the 65/35 ratio it does do a number on cartos, but man it is well worth it.

Vanilla Strait
I have tried a couple of vanilla flavors , the one that comes to mind is Quicnic's bacconilla and I was not impressed. There was a person that was not too impressed with NLV BH and Renegade and was looking to trade so lucky me I did, he threw in a 10ml bottle of Vanilla strait, don't know if he tried it or not , looked pretty full to me, he sure missed out if you ask me. This Juice has become a favorite of mine right a way. 5ml gone already and used the other 5ml to enhance a bottle of 6mg BH i have. I don't know how many different vanilla flavorings gene uses but man o man the vanilla really shines on this one , Very sweet , excellent throat hit and Vapor, and with all that vanilla I can still taste the tobacco flavor that NLV uses which is to me part of the secret why out of the 4 juices I've tried so far 3 are my favorites. IF YOU LIKE VANILLA , This is the one you must try.

Juice Specifics and Equipment used

Sundance V2 - 18mg - 10ML bottle born date 2/2012
Vanilla Strait - 24mg - 10ML bottle born date 2/2012

Tested on provari V1 on 2 attys Bauway LR306 - 1.5 ohms @ 3.7-3.8V and Ikenvape IO6 -1.7,1.8ohms @ 4.0V , the vanilla strait is now in a Boge SR tank tastes just as good.

Like I mentioned since these are darker juices , they do take a toll on the cartos , I've been replacing every 3-4 days for BH,renegade, as well as Vanilla strait, well worth it. Attys are doing great.

NLV info ( NO, I do not work for them HAHA)

I've been curious about the Vanilla Strait ever since I got hooked on Highbrow's Vanilla Bourbon Bean. Any chance that NLV would make an all- or mostly-PG by request?

jplanet, I'm pretty sure that Gene is not able to customize his juices. FWIW, I generally avoid high VG juices (and yes, anything over 30% I consider "high"), but NLV juices are among my favorites and give me no trouble at all, even at 65/35. :)

Hey, nice review. Im the one that traded you the juices. I did try all three juices I sent you. While they were all ok, I prefer to vape other juices I have and was looking to trade for variety. You are right about the vanilla, out of the three it was probably the one that was favorable to me. By no means would I throw these juices in the low end category, they are all quality. For me im still new to vaping and looking to explore all options. I prefer boba's and gorilla juice over the NLV ive tried so far, Iam interested in the sundance v2 and some of there others though because I think the folks at NLV do a good mix. Bounty hunter for me was to sweet for a tobacco blend. I dont mind fruits but when I smoke a tobacco the sweet has to compliment the tobacco.

Because of this thread, I re-visited Sundance V2 tonight. I wasn't completely impressed with it out of the mailbox, but now, about a month and a half later, it's hitting pretty damned good. It's a very unique flavor, hard for me to describe, but I'm definitely getting the orange thing going on, maybe with a little cream on top and some kind of spice. Glad you reminded me of it.

Cody I can't thank you enough , at first when I tried BH a few months back , It was too sweet for me as well, something about the damn tastebuds that change so much in these 4 months of vaping, I think they might have something more for your liking now in Linerider and twilight, not as sweet. By the way pleasure to trade with you , Cody is a standup guy, just as promised.

That's great, yeah it is one of those juices that are hard to describe and like but you end up vaping it all, hahaha, Gene's juices do that for some reason.

Aw, that's too bad - I have to add NLV to my "List of vendors who I wished made all VG"! Unfortunately, not a matter of preference for me, but allergic reactions...

I feel that we are blessed to have so many good juice vendors who provide wonderful nicquids. I regard this as a Golden Age of Vaping in much the same way that the 1950s are now considered the Golden Age of Television. Pioneers winging it with gusto and creativity.

With most of my favorite vendors, I end up with a small number juices that I really like from each, sometimes only one or two from a given vendor, but often three or four. NLV is different, standing alone at the top of the heap. Besides the quality of the juices, the fantastic prices, and the fact that Gene is not only a master artisan juice alchemist but one heck of a guy, what distinguishes NLV and makes it my #1 favorite vendor is that I love so many of the juices. The only NLV juice I don't have is Cold Creek (I'm just not a menthol or mint vaper). I have every other NLV juice---including reserves of the earlier ones that have been discontinued---and some are stockpiled to the skies in my stash (for instance, I have 250ml of Bounty Hunter), thanks to their low prices and Gene's stunning generosity.

I'll briefly comment on four that I recently acquired.

Sundance V2: I still have some of the original Sundance and a 30ml bottle of Sundance LITE. the first revision. V2---which is actually the third revision---doesn't strike me as very similar to either of its predecessors. The fruitiness is still present, but somewhat restrained. Picking up the slack, however, is a good shot of cake/batter flavor (seems to me very close to the white cake flavor in Bounty Hunter). Both previous versions of Sundance felt like experiments to me, and not entirely successful ones; this third version is rock solid all the way. A total surprise, and delicious! I think I'll be vaping a lot of Sundance V2.

NLV Gold: NiteLite's new "house" tobacco blend. Echoes of the nuttiness of Line Rider, but more subtle. The tobacco base stands out more than in Bounty Hunter. A rich and fairly complex blend. A superb addition to NLV's lineup of juices and my personal stable of daily juices. Gold all the way.

Twilight Tobacco: Another new juice. NLV's "analog replicant." I'm not sure Twilight achieves analog status as well as some other juices I have (mom&pop's RYO and fsusa's Pure Cig come to mind). I don't care one whit, though. Analog or not, Twilight is darn tasty. Warm and deeply satisfying, with the slightest hint of what my palate interprets as orange flavor, almost like orange pekoe tea. Lovely.

Waffles: What can I say? It's waffles. Not too maple syrupy, but enough to let me know it's there. Same with butteriness. Not overly buttery, just the right amount. My brain gets fooled (which is what we want) into remembering the taste of waffles that have browned and crispy crusts covering soft, fluffy innards. Yum.

All four juices are big winners for me, joining Bounty Hunter, Vanilla Strait, Capparillo Caffé Latte, and Renegade as new favorites. That's eight great juices from one vendor. Amazing.

Congratulations, Gene, you've done it again!

Is Gold related in any way to Goldrush?

Thanks for the good reviews, Pillrock and billherbst. Imagine that! You guys did it without the use of mind-numbing graphs and gimmicks ;)

Cheers!

dream,

I still have some Goldrush, and to my palate the new Gold is nothing like Goldrush at all. Goldrush struck me as a fairly straight-ahead tobacco, very satisfying in an unadorned sort of way. By contrast, Gold is very strongly flavorful with added elements that alter the base tobacco flavor.

I'm glad you're enjoying the "third" :)laugh:) Sundance, aka Sundance V2, Bill. I really enjoy it as well. It's funny you should mention a hint of "orange" in the delicious new Twilite; my palate keeps tasting something like "lemon oil" or lemon zest when I vape it. Whatever that slight flavor note is, that juice is good.
