My first vape was a small battery, and a disposable 1.6 ml tank. I didnt know they could even be disposable... I got the smallest vape battery with no brand on it. Discount tobacco shops SUCK. I got a charger with it.. since then I upgraded to a 1300 vision spinner battery, I am not sure if I can use the charger I got with the crappy 30$ no named one.. it fits, all it says on the charginf part is "USB CHARGER.. Input DC5 B 500mA..... Output: DC4.2..420mA"

Is this a safe type of a charger to use with my new spinner? I really dont feel like messing anything up.

More than likely what you have is a standard usb charger that comes with pretty much every ego style battery. This should work perfectory fine for charging your vision spinner. HOWEVER there are some companies like Blu that make there battery connectors in reverse. If you have a multimeter you can test to see if by some rediculous chance the one you own is setup like that. I highly doubt that it is as this is very uncommon. I think you'll be just fine using it.

edit: if your first battery was an ego type device this charger will definitely work for your spinner. Mosty all the kits come with these cheap chargers. Hope this helps

Thank you! I will never, ever buy a non brand marked anything from a cigarette shop, I should have researched vape shops in my area, southern Illinois is just now growing into the industry of it. Ive learned lots via youtube and reading some posts on this site already.

A lot of USB chargers don't have a brand name on them. The specs are correct for charging a Spinner, or any eGo style battery with a 510 connection. As ^Top-Shelf^ mentioned, the only problem you might have would be reversed polarity on the connector, but I doubt it.

If you are really worried about it, chargers are fairly inexpensive. You can pick up a USB adapter and wall wart for ~$13 shipped.

USB adapter - eGo/510 USB Rapid Charger - 420mAh

Wall adapter - USB Wall Socket Charger - 500mah

Liberty Flights has the Joyetech brand chargers for $11.77 shipped. Just use the code OCTOBER20 for 20% off.

Joye eGo USB fast charger - Electronic Cigarette - Chargers - USB Chargers

USB Wall adapter 500ma - Electronic Cigarette - Chargers - Car & Wall Chargers

Hmm, it's been posted, few times, when people use the wrong charger or usb/AC convertor, that ego's will vent and become air born, possibly flames too. Always make sure that any charger used is not going to push more amps into the battery then it can handle.

Never ever skimp on batteries or chargers. That's the first step for save vaping, battery knowledge, care and maintenance. And with the knock offs available, with no standard, one can never be to paranoid careful. Just because I am paranoid cautious, doesn't mean they are not out to get me I shouldn't be careful and know what's what.
