Is it just me or is the new atomizer nearly perfect? With the original atomizers I absolutely had to have every cart PTB modded. I was topping off constantly, carts leaked in my pocket, battery life was horrible...etc. Im on day 3 or 4 with the new atomizer and stock carts and my biggest complaint is the carts last way too long and I cant sample my new juice flavors! If I have some poly fiber stuck to the atomizer I dont get that horrible plastic taste. In the past I knew the exact second I had poly on the atomizer, with this one, I have several fibers on there and could care less cause I cant taste it. With stock carts I could take 3 drags and have to set it down for a few mins or I would get plastic or metal taste. These just keep going and going.

I set out this morning to deplete a cart so I could load it up with some new juice ive stockpiled from several vendors. Ive been dragging on this thing for two hours straight and its still going strong. At one point I took the cart off and got all excited because the top looked dry. I stuck tweezers in the cart to pull the polyfill out and it was still oozing with juice! My vaping routine is completely changed now. I was constantly prepping tea bags, washing carts, filling carts, draining an atomizer, filling juice carry bottles...etc. Now I dont have anything to do! Carts last forever, my kitchen doesnt look like a .... lab, all the cases I bought to carry juice around with me havent been touched in days.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I know this post is a bit long winded, but Im really in a state of disbelief that the mighty, high maintenance 510 has gotten this much better! Wheres the catch?!

I'm kind of there too.

Kevin

My wife made a comment last night that I seemed lost now, since Im not spending all my time tweaking, cleaning, stuffing and filling. Thought the honeymoon was over today as it stopped putting out the plumes of vapor I had gotten accustomed to. Changed to a fresh cart of EcoPure and it was cranking again in a few minutes. I REALLY want to like JC juice, but I swear its the one variable everytime I have a freak out moment and think my hardwares about to fail.

Unrelated note, are they putting pheromones in EcoPure or something? When Im not dragging it over and over again, Im smelling the end of the cartridge. It got so bad today I almost stuck one up my nose for a sec, and luckily someone walked into my office. For some reason I cant get enough of the smell!

I think it's just you. I wanted the new atomizers to be great and I didn't care if they were knockoffs, but the one I have is just awful. It draws way too easily, it's like sucking through a McDonald's straw. It wicks very poorly, I can get 2 or 3 drags off it and then it needs to rest for a couple minutes before there's any juice ready to vaporize.

I've gone back to it several times because I really wanted it to be great and I keep thinking maybe I just missed something but it consistently fails.

On the other hand, it's good to know that it's working great for someone.

I'm pretty sure "new" and "old" has to do with the number of holes in the atty. The new ones have 2 holes and the old ones had 4. Also, the gold band on the new one is wider. If there is another new one updated from this one, I don't know.
Edit: After looking at another thread it turns out this is the old one. But there was one before this that had 4 holes.

I guess that's so. The 4 hole is before my time. I never saw one. What they are talking about is the "New" being the counterfit model being sold by innovapor.com. Joye has verrified that it is not their product and there is no "new" atomizer from Joye Technologies..

From the detailed investigation that SurfMonkey did, if it says that it is a "Joye" atomizer it isn't the new one. Did Randall tell you this in an email? On his site it is listed as an Joye 510 atomizer. The whole issue so far is that this "new" one is an JS 510 atomizer and not a Joye 510 atomizer.

Kevin
the kit says to be the new 510 from joye, and that is new stuff on his side, you better email him and he tell you, he has fast respond, but email him he dosent surf the forum too much

I will take your word for it. But, read what I said about there not being a new Joye 510 atomizer. This comes directly from Joye, they do not produce any "new" style atomizers. They have not changed production for at least 6 months or more. I know that there is a lot of confusion about this "new" style atomizer. According to Joye, the atomizer first introduced by innovapor.com and advertised as the new style 510 with 30000 cycles lifetime is an unauthorized clone probably being distributed by Eastmall. I don't have any first hand knowledge of this, just what was discussed on 2 other threads posted on this site.

Randall says they are the new one,
Liberty Electronic Cigarettes - The 510 by Joye - 510 by Joye, Atomizer - Black

Then Randall must be removing the atomizers that come with the Joye 510 kits and replacing them with the "new" style attys.

All of the "old" ones I have have 2 holes.

So please someone explain to me what is the deal here with the new and old attys. Please.

I just don`t get it. I have 6 attys that look like the 1st pic(not sure of that`s new or old because I`m confused about all of this) and all of them perform very well - I`ve been rotating them for a month or so....

:) thanks in advance

Top "old" ones are made by Joye. Bottom "new" ones are clones.

There is no good or bad, better or worse as that's all personal preference.

Top ones are the only ones shipped in a 510 kit manufactured by joyetech.

Bottom ones are the ones that Innovapor sold as the "new and superior" ones until folks began questioning their origins, NOT their performance.

Innovapor got their "new" ones from East Mall who also began shipping them to those who ordered spare atomizers.

EM has since discontinued them, and I believe Innovapor has also.

Well put, I know there has been a lot of confusion.
