Have any of you ever considered just politely respecting the wishes of the restaurant and not vaping while you're there? Not everything has to be a power struggle. I don't vape inside places all the time. It's not that hard. I just put the vape in my pocket, and don't take it back out again. Easy peasy. Often, I don't do it even without being asked to stop. Look at me, not vaping right now as I use both hands to type this message! In my own home, even! The other day I went to the grocery store, and I didn't vape in there, too. They didn't even ask me not to, I just didn't do it! Hell, one time, I was even outside and didn't vape for a couple minutes! Imagine that! Weird, right?

I suspect you wont mind standing outside in the cold or even just sucking up secondhand smoke with the smokers endangering your health because people do not like the appearance of vaping. Yet evidence is showing secondhand vape fumes are harmless Scientists Shocked After Testing Ecig Vapor in the Lab - ChurnMag this is just one link and yet people want to endanger my health by regulating vaping like tobacco, no we all need to stand up for our rights this time. I do not drink yet I watch people consume alcohol all the time and then even drive their children away in their vehicles, to me unacceptable but I tolerate this behavior so I think people can learn to tolerate harmless vaping in public, leave it up to the owner of the establishment and no I refuse to go back out with the smokers that I am not one of anymore!!!!

It's a courtesy issue.

Ask yourself this...

Would you mind if the person sitting in the booth directly behind you ripped a giant fart while you were trying to eat? Surely they have the right to, but should they? Imagine a fart cloud as large as your vapor cloud, spreading over your table while you're trying to have a pleasant dinner with your significant other. Would you want that? Would you enjoy that?

If not, then why are you essentially doing the same thing to them?

No not at all a fart smells bad and vapor smells good or not at all, no more noticeable than someones breath and that can be bad, but do we object to them breathing their germs and bad breath, no! If a person is sitting there puffing on a nicotine inhaler does anyone say anything no because you cannot see the vapor they are expelling and it contains the same nicotine as vapor, just because you can't see it does not mean it is not there and the only difference is you can see vapor but that does not make it harmful so why shouldn't we vape

Probably for the same reason I found it difficult to go a couple hours without smoking.

I also find it much easier to go a couple hours "without" when it is my choice and not dictated by others.

I would think this is just a matter of common respect. Why does there need to be sign? Why is it fair to others to go in an emit huge plumes of vapor, which do have an odor? For those who think that this is just fine, how do you think it affects the views of non-vapors about vaping? The answer should be apparent in the rash of laws that have started to come about banning vaping. Do you think there would be a ban on public transit in cities if people hadn't gotten on and started blowing plumes? Offending people is hardly the way to get their buy in.

Honestly, until I get to a point of trying to quit vaping, I would call it slightly less "addicting" since I have been able to cut the nic level to a third of where I started.

For me I would say no. The other day I had to take my dog to a specialist that was a good half an hour away from my house and since he doesn't do well in the car my Dad offered to drive me while I kept the dog calm. Since my Dad doesn't smoke I left my vape at home so an hour in the car stressed with a dog and and an two hours at the specialist. I never would've went three hours without cigarettes but didn't even flinch at being away from vaping that long.

I would've been lighting up as soon as we got out of the car on the way into the appointment, and as soon as we were outside on the way to the car. Could I have brought my mod and puffed it a few times at the same time I would have smoked sure but I just felt I didn't need to.

The whole thread is about vaping where it is not allowed. Smokers can wait, but it seems many vapers can not...

By the sounds of the posts here once is definitely not enough!!! The sheep are just being led down the road of over regulation without a fuss, lets just do as we are told because they say they don't like it and we do not want to cause a fuss. ... get some backbone people
